A. Campoforia is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is a member of the Lok genus.
Appearance[]
A peculiar underground Lok colored in teal and purplish-gray hues, with a bulbous body hosting eyes of varying size, and two stubby tentacle-arms with puckers on their undersides. The Indeterminate gender has a circular mouth atop its head surrounded by long, tusk-like teeth. The Female gender has a canopy of teal-colored leaves and long golden-orange stalks ending in flowers of bright yellow and purple.

Encountered on planet Tanav'oh's Big Brother, where they navigate caustic ground and choking acid rain. Poor sensory systems leave this typically passive creature unable to perceive much of the external world. However, brain scans reveal a deep, rich inner life. They supplement their tuber-based diet with brightly-coloured flowers; the complex dye compounds providing a valuable micronutrient boost.
