The AGT Bureau of Galactic Archives is responsible for all official AGT activities concerning collection and maintenance of all database records AGT Galactic Archives, as well as the associated pages on the NMS Fandom site.
Bureau Responsibilities[]
The bureau has the following responsibilities:
- Communicate and promote the existence of the AGT Galactic Archives to groups outside the AGT
- Recruit and encourage 'Travellers' (members of the AGT) to record and document their findings in the AGT Galactic Archives Database (see: AGT Tools and Forms)
- Maintain the AGT NMS DB Tool and database content and backups
- Ensure data migration from Google forms as appropriate
- Represent the AGT to provide guidance to the NMS Fandom administrators on structure, categorization and characteristics / guidelines for the NMS wiki
- Promote the AGT Bureau activities on the AGT official communication channels when possible (NMS Coordinate Exchange, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Discord)
- Ensure recording in the AGT Galactic Archives of special interest that are posted in the NMS Coordinate Exchange, AGT Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Discord groups.
- Support specific regional focus to document discoveries in the AGT Galactic Archives as identified by SLT
- Particular focus on AGT Current Operations regions
- Secondary responsibility: Ensure travellers record star system names with AGT prefix
The bureau is overseen and supported by the AGT Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
