AGT Department of Historical Affairs describes an organization division of the AGT.
Summary[]
The AGT Department of Historical Affairs is responsible for documenting the official history of AGT activities and the selection of key sites and location that are substantial historical site locations for the AGT.
Department Responsibilities[]
The department has the following responsibilities:
- Represent the AGT to the peer groups in the community for shared Civilized space history
- Represent the AGT to provide guidance to the NMS Fandom administrators on structure, categorization and civilized space history characteristics / guidelines for the NMS wiki
- Capture and document noteworthy accomplishments of AGT travellers for historical record
- Promote the AGT Department activities on the AGT official communication channels when possible (NMS Coordinate Exchange, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Discord)
- Nominating locations of historical interest heritage consideration; documenting those successfully approved
- Particular focus on primary AGT regions identified in AGT Current Operations
- Secondary responsibility: Ensure travellers record star system names with AGT prefix
The department is overseen and supported by the AGT Bureau of Galactic Archives.
