The AGT Department of Stellar Cartography is a departmentof the Alliance of Galactic Travellers that is responsible for stellar and interstellar mapping initiatives.
It is overseen by the AGT Bureau of Science & Tech.
Department Responsibilities[]
The department has the following responsibilities:
- Maintain ongoing development of the AGT NAVI 3D modelling tool.
- Recruit and encourage AGT Travellers to record and document interstellar star distances and submit them to the AGT Galactic Archives database tools.
- Represent the AGT to the peer groups in the community (when they form) for cartographical work and standardization
- Represent the AGT to provide guidance to the NMS Fandom administrators on cartography for the NMS wiki
- Promote the AGT NAVI and the AGT department activities on the AGT official communication channels when possible (Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Discord)
