Summary[]

The AGT HA-48/8 Kaopod Transport is a hauler-type starship in the universe of No Man's Sky. It a primary hauler commissioned into the CELAB Galactic Industries starfleet in Feb 2019.

The starship is optimized for carriage of large volume of trading materials, but also has substantial deflector shield and armour upgrades to protect it from pirate attacks.

This A-class starship was discovered in the AGT Celab Phi system, located in the Agutissye Quadrant region.

It was originally discovered as a 48 slot version of The Bard of Infinity.

Encounter History[]

Whilst the starship is intended to act primarily as a transport vehicle for moving trade goods and building supplies, it was engaged in a desperate conflict in a battle at Egatah system, when System Authority starships launched an unprovoked attack after the starship left the moon Egatah II Minor during a routine exploration and resource collection mission. The starship was luckily assisted by Combat Frigates of the CELAB Galactic starfleet which were in orbit above Egatah II at the time. The starship escaped with only minor damage and warped to a nearby system once the System Authority starships were distracted by the combat frigate.
