Discovery[]

Originally discovered by an Xbox explorer named UNCLEARWEEDMAN1 in or around 2020, the system was rediscovered, explored, and documented by TheDukeJeff7 on 24 October 2023.

System Location[]

The Abbetr-Ilet IV star system is in the Yarayna Cluster region near the distant edge of the Euclid galaxy. It is situated approximately 717,466 light years from the Galaxy Centre.

Space Station[]

Type and Location[]

The system has one space station, the Abbetr-Ilet IV Sphere, orbiting near the first planet, Tinas VII. The design is a bright lemon yellow Globular shape, with substantial black accents in one quadrant. Enormous tetrahedral additions are extended off each of the rear quadrant panels on the "back" side of the station, and a sphere-shaped module extends straight down from the bottom. It has a white decals on the surface, as well as bright silver edges pinstripes. The symbols on the exterior walls indicate this is a Class A5, Type 9 station.

Vendors[]

This is an Outlaw Station and, as such, has a different layout and vendors from a typical space station. Visitors will find a salvage dealer, contraband agent, and bounty master here. The Multi-Tool cabinet on the station offers class tools. Although the Vy'keen are the controlling faction of the star system, representatives of all races seems to be equally present on this station. At the time of the visit by TheDukeJeff7, no Traveller NPCs were found on the station.

Freighter[]

The Abbetr-Ilet IV star system has been known to spawn a Freighter that is an Underbite Cargo-class ship. It is primarily sage green and dark golden yellow, with some black accents. It utilizes both circular and cylindrical onboard cargo and has a bottom fin at the stern.

At the time the Traveller visited the system, the Freighter encountered was known as SS-1 Hatsuruga, captained by a Vy'keen named Admiral Unhuadum. It was a class ship with 11 technology slots and 18 general inventory slots, offered for sale at the cost of 9,500,000 Units.

Abbetr - Asteroids — A field of asteroids in the system.

The dominant life form in the star system is the Vy'keen. The conflict level is Pirate Controlled, which can be seen from the constant onslaught of high-security threats and pirate attacks both in space on planet-side. The local economy is centered on Fuel Generation goods in a Power Generation Economy and is considered a Black Market economy.

During the Traveller's exploration of this star system, multiple Space Encounters were experienced, including at least one Asteroid Larvae, one Hyperspace Navigation Station, and one patch of Condensed Stellar Ice encounter.

Within the system, the Asteroid fields have two main varieties. Most of the rocks are large, lumpy, and waxy brown. Some, however, are deep turquoise colors rocks with white honeycomb-style veining throughout.
