Advanced Mining Laser is a multi-tool upgrade.
Summary[ | ]
Advanced Mining Laser is a technology that augments the Mining Beam, a Multi-tool weapon. Its effects stack with those provided by Mining Beam Upgrades, but this technology does not count toward the three-upgrade limit, making it useful for triggering stronger upgrade bonuses on those upgrades.
Game Description[ | ]
Replaces standard Mining Beam optics with high-grade Living Glass, allowing the beam to be effective against large and/or rare resource deposits.
The lens adapts automatically to minute fluctuations in the beam waveform, minimising scatter and increasing device mining potential.
Crafting[ | ]
The Advanced Mining Laser can be obtained in several ways:
- From the Base Computer Archives quest.
- It is possible to acquire this upgrade as a reward from the final stages of the Quest Awakenings.
- Blueprint can be purchased from Iteration: Eos on the Space Anomaly for 75 Nanite Clusters.
- Has a chance of appearing as an attachment on Multi-Tools found in space stations, sentinel pillars, harmonic camps, etc.
- Can be bought from the technology merchant in Minor Settlements
- Can be acquired as a random upgrade through through communication with the Korvax who may upgrade your multitool.

Advanced Mining Laser can be dismantled after construction, returning the following ingredients:
