Alluring Specimen is a type of mineral that can be found underwater on the ocean floor. It can be scanned, but it will not show up in the Discoveries.
It can be located with the Analysis Visor by looking for the 
icon.

- If you use the action key to harvest the glowing bulbs by hand, you can acquire up to five pieces of Hadal Cores from an Alluring Specimen, but with each harvest there is a chance for an Abyssal Horror to appear, destroying the remaining mineral and attacking you.
