The AtlasPass works as a key, and is used to bypass locked Debris and certain doors.
Summary
The AtlasPass V1 grants you access to the left door on space stations (seen from the perspective of entering the space station), which contain plants with harvestable carbon and an Exo-suit upgrade. It also unlocks debris commonly but not exclusively found near Waypoints. It may contain (but rarely) Warp Cells or more likely the components to build a Warp Cell, beginning with Suspension Fluid. The AtlasPass V1 will not be consumed in the process, allowing for infinite unlocks with a single pass.
Game description
Security and permissions pass granted to specific travelers by many primary galactic species. Provides access to low level restricted areas and outpost systems.
Source
AtlasPass v1 can be built using a blueprint and the following ingredients:
Blueprint
The AtlasPass blueprint is unlocked by finding a space anomaly which appears as a spherical space station with a red-glowing entry port. Talking to the Gek grants an AtlasPass V1 blueprint. Note that you must have met at least six aliens and therefore reached your third milestone or else you won't be able to communicate.
