Automated Trap is a building part
Summary[ | ]
Automated Trap is a building part and a deployable technology which can be placed on water and will automatically catch fish over time.
Game description[ | ]
An autonomous fishing device, designed for long-term deployment in a wide-range of water conditions.
Once activated, the system will lure and trap any nearby aquatic creatures and store them for later retrieval.
Use[ | ]
Automated Trap can be placed on any body of water, and up to three can be placed on each planet. Over time, the four inventory slots will fill up with stacks of fishes that can spawn in the planetary biome. Other conditions such as weather and water depth do not seem to limit what an Automated Trap can catch, but rarer fishes are less likely to be caught.
Sources[ | ]
Automated Trap can be built using a blueprint and the following ingredients:
- Salt ×50 + Metal Plating ×3 + Ion Battery ×1 → Automated Trap
The blueprint can be purchased on the Space Anomaly for 1 Salvaged Data.
