Battle for Nierhau is a historical event.
Summary[ | ]
The Battle for Nierhau was a historical event in the Uhshiuh star system which saw the fall of the Pirate Republic within the system and the rise of The Fiestan Empire.

Prior to Battle[ | ]
The lead-up to the battle was quite short; as soon as the surrounding systems had signed the articles of Fiesta, joining them in a confederacy. Following this new union, the militaries of the systems were united and sent to Pollin XIX to use the moon as a staging ground against the planet Lipol, which the pirates had used as their capital. The Hidden Arm was sent on a scouting missing to Lipol, resulting in a small skirmish which saw The Hidden Arm destroy five pirate fighters and two transports.
The Battle[ | ]
The Battle for Nierhau officially began at 14:42 when a pirate freighter warped into the system near Nierhau. The planetary blockade was able to hold back the attacks the freighter launched, long enough for news to arrive to Pollin XIX and for an invasion of Lipol to begin. The Hidden Arm led a group of 42 fighters into Pirate airspace on Lipol, ensuring that any hope of defense for the pirates was destroyed. The skirmish saw 72 pirate fighters destroyed and only 12 Fiestan fighters destroyed. Meanwhile, the blockade of Nierhau had taken a massive beating and pirates were able to slip through to the surface, where very few fighters were actually stationed for defense. A swarm of pirate fighters destroyed the remaining star ships defending Nierhau, allowing the entire pirate force to land. Still occupied attacking the Pirate capital, Mierne called upon the system Rudoim IV for their freighters and fighters, which arrived to aid swiftly. The Pirates ground forces were ground to a halt outside of Jimari, giving the Rudoimian forces valuable time to destroy the pirates remaining in the air.
