Compakask-Mepp Major is a planet.

Summary[ | ]

Compakask-Mepp Major is a highly dangerous, small parched planet in the star system Kamaixingti on the PC version of No Man's Sky.

This is the most dangerous planet in the system due to the sheer number of predators that inhabit it. Exercise EXTREME CAUTION when exploring on foot! You'll never know when a predator will suddenly come out behind and try to kill you!

Geology[ | ]

Massive land formations rule this beautiful, earth-like desert world. There are almost no flat areas. Instead, there are several rough hills that go up and down. Small lakes can be found scattered here and there. Large basins of varying depth are commonplace, occasionally going up to great heights and creating magnificent sights.

The surface has a somewhat nutrient-poor yellow soil with some patches of red rock. It is good enough for the green grass to grow, but it's way too poor for trees and cacti to grow. However, there are a few patches of decently rich soil, allowing some cacti and trees to grow. What is common however, are carnivorous plants that rely on catching prey to sustain themselves.

Strangely, the planet is very rich with Plutonium, which is odd since this not an extreme irradiated hellhole like Inshirishi Zapolo, but desert world has a mostly relaxing climate.

Atmosphere and Climate[ | ]

The planet has a pleasant and earth-like sky blue atmosphere with almost no fog or haze to obscure view.

Weather is mostly calm and quiet. Storms are rare, but when they do happen, they're quite powerful.

Things to Do[ | ]

Only well-geared explorers are allowed to explore the deadly lands of this planet. There are TONS of predators and they're everywhere. Be very careful when approaching lakes. A lot of the fauna can be found near the lakes, predators included.

Challenge yourself by getting surrounded by predators (which will happen quite often). Kill them before they kill you! The rewards are decently rich - lots of Mordite. Along the way, you'll notice the planet's abundance of Plutonium. You're getting lots of mordite while getting lots of launch thruster and electron vapor materials as well.

Life[ | ]

If a planet's amount of fauna is Moderate, Common, Numerous, Medium, Average or somewhere along those lines, it may result in the following:

  • A planet with little fauna variety (around 4-7? species). Starter planets are usually like this. Example: Kandumannova in Uytunxu'agluol
  • A planet populated by blobs. Example: Konantoriumh
  • A planet dominated by Megafauna. Example: Nusokyviussem
  • A planet populated by predators. Example: Vudokuva Iear

Compakask-Mepp Major is the 4th type. However, this planet is a rare kind due to having SO MANY predators, even when compared to other predator planets. It is significantly more dangerous than high security and extreme weather planets as instead of having herds of creatures grazing around, there are packs of predators waiting to hunt you down instead! Imagine how dangerous a planet can get if it has so many predators, aggressive Sentinels, extreme weather and NO flora to recharge your Multi-tool!

Lore[ | ]

This section is Fan Fiction. The information found here is not an actual part of the released game, but a user-invented addition to the wiki.

CK-M Major is a major tourist attraction and economic hub in Kamaixingti. Vibrant blue skies, yellow desert sand, beautiful oases, generally friendly weather and scenic land formations make this the place to go for the explorer seeking an adventure.

Prospectors also visit here in search of riches, as the planet has Gold, an abundance of predators to kill and barely any sentinels to keep things in check.
