Additional information

  • The Steam Overlay allows to take screenshots, using F12 (PC) by default.
  • On PC the controls in the Quick Menu can be bound to KEYWIDE.0TO9, this can be set up by pressing KEYWIDE.CTRL & KEYWIDE.0TO9 on a certain action.
  • On PC pressing the Reset to default option in the Options/Controls menu will not reset the bound controls in the Quick Menu.

Release history

  • Release - Introduced to the game.
  • Release 1.07 - PC: Fixed the X key size on the Galactic Map.
  • Foundation 1.12 - PC: Remapping of the build menu and quick menu commands are allowed to support Azerty keyboards.
  • Foundation 1.13 - PC: Removed Up, Down, Left, Right as quick menu navigation keys to allow left handed players to move while using the quick menu. Page Up and Page down can now be used to navigate up and down in the quick menu. Steam Controller: Fix for not being able to warp.
  • Pathfinder - PC: Escape key now goes directly to the quit Options page. Steam Controller: Mapping improved and expanded.
  • Pathfinder 1.23 - Steam Controller: Enabled in base reporting and Steam Workshop base upload.
  • Pathfinder 1.24 - Steam Controller: Fixed some issues with controller prompts.
  • Atlas Rises 1.33 - Added joypad and keyboard controls for switching between inventories.
  • Atlas Rises 1.35 - PC: Improved user interface navigation using Q, E, W, S, A and D keys.
  • Atlas Rises 1.37 - PC: Added ability to hold Backspace to delete text in text entry fields.
  • Atlas Rises 1.38 - PC: Fixed an issue where unbinding a key would exit the control menu. Fixed an issue where selecting a new key binding could accidentally result in it being set to a mouse button.
  • NEXT - Xbox controls introduced to the game.
  • NEXT 1.51 - Fixed an issue where new controls were missing from the controls page.
  • NEXT 1.55 - PC: Pressing P will default to opening the Log rather than Options. Options continues to be the default option for Esc.
  • NEXT 1.57 - Steam Controller: Mapping improved.
  • NEXT 1.60 - Restored the ability to use keys/buttons on the Quick Transfer inventory popup. PC: Enabled quick menu keybinding.
  • NEXT 1.63 - PC: Prevented quick menu hotkeys from taking effect while other UI panels are open (eg. during text chat).
  • Beyond - Added support for full rebinding of PC controls via Steam and OpenVR. Added the option to remove button holds and make all non-destructive clicks instant. Hidden changes: The update reverted the setting to default controls and made it impossible to rebind them.
  • Beyond 2.09 - Enabled mouse and keyboard rebinding on PC. Gamepad and other device rebinding can be performed via Steam.
