Description | Corrupted Sentinel Drone Unit |
Updated | WorldsOne |
Corrupted Sentinel Drones are a type of Corrupted Sentinel.
Summary[ | ]
Corrupted Sentinel Drones are the corrupted versions of Sentinel Drones. They are most commonly found on Dissonant Planets, but can also be found near Salvageable Scrap dig sites and can also be found attacking Planetary Settlements.
Behaviour[ | ]
On planets with Corrupted Sentinels, they are mostly found patrolling Dissonance Resonators, but can generally be found anywhere on the planet. They will scan players when they destroy atlantideum crystals or radiant shards. The player will be attacked if they continue mining while being scanned, without raising the player's wanted level, and only by the Corrupted Sentinel that was scanning the player (and possibly any nearby Corrupted Sentinels). They also attack when harmed by players, if a player attacks a dissonance resonator, or if they pick up a gravitino ball, increasing the player's wanted level in the process.
In combat, Corrupted Sentinel Drones make use of a variety of weaponry, including rapid fire projectiles (dealing low damage) and a close range blaster (dealing medium damage). Corrupted Drones also make use of their long-distance grenade launcher, which are deadly. They can also occasionally use their flamethrower, dealing massive amounts of damage in close range. While fighting, Corrupted drones can also heal each other, as well as Corrupted Sentinel Quadrupeds, making battling Corrupted Sentinels more time consuming.
When defeated, Corrupted Drones always drop combat supplies.
