Daplokarus is a creature teased in the E3 announcement trailer but one that has yet to be reported as an actual discovery post-release.

Summary

Daplokarus is a majestic sauropod resembling a brachiosaurid that lives on the planet Oria V. Daplokarus was first shown in the No Man's Sky E3 Gameplay Trailer. There appears to be two forms of Daplokarus, one with Stegosaurus-like plates on its back (seen wading in the water), and one without (seen walking on land). The plated one, however, could actually be another species entirely.

Daplokarus appears to be an pre-release example of the rare Rangifae genus of fauna.
