Dissonance Resonator is a type of machinery.
Summary[ | ]
Dissonance Resonators are a type of cursed machinery which can be found on Dissonant Planets. They drill into the planet's crust, pumping out whatever decay and darkness simmers below the surface.
Appearance[ | ]
Dissonance Resonators are made from rare Sentinel materials and share an eerie purple light emanating from multiple spots upon its frame. Three spindly legs rise to meet a large head resting at around two times the player's height.
Behavior[ | ]
Dissonance Resonators accompany Corrupted Sentinels on planets they inhabit. Dissonance Resonators have approximately 4500 health. When they have taken enough damage, their body will explode in multiple places, starting from the legs upwards, until it is killed. Attacking a Dissonance Resonator will cause nearby Corrupted Sentinels to attack.
Dissonance Resonators will appear on the lowestmost terrain layer of the planet. This can cause them to appear underneath floating islands, and at times, in underground caves, causing Corrupted Sentinels to guard the spot above it.
