Expedition 12: Omega describes the 12th expedition in No Man's Sky.

Summary

Expedition 12: Omega is the 12th expedition. It began on 15 February 2024 and ended on 18 March 2024.

Gameplay

Players starting this expedition will start on planet Nafut Gamma in the Doriguc VII system with a Derelict Freighter in the sky, with their starship a few hundred units away from their spawn.

The player's Exosuit specifications are:

• Capacity of 26 Cargo slots and 19 Technology slots.
• You will have some items: A Portable Refiner, two Ion Batteries, a Life Support Gel and one thousand Projectile Ammunition.
• Technologies installed are a Jetpack, Hazard Protection, Life Support, a B-Class Jetpack Upgrade, a C-Class Life Support Upgrade and a Shield Lattice.
• You will have the blueprints for the Aeration Membrane and Coolant Network technologies.

Spawn Starship specifications:

• You will start with a random Solar Ship.
• Your starship will have 25 Cargo slots and 13 Technology slots.
• Your starship will have the installed technologies Launch Thruster and Pulse Engine damaged, Rocket Launcher, Vesper Sail, Deflector Shield, Photon Cannon and some damaged components.
• In addition, you can copy your current starship at an Expedition Terminal.

Spawn Multi-Tool specifications:

• Your Multi-Tool will have the following technologies: Mining Beam, Scanner, Analysis Visor, Terrain Manipulator, and Boltcaster installed and also some damaged components.
• In addition, you can copy your current Multi-Tool at an Expedition Terminal.

The final phase of all phases tasks you with researching a planet, which requires scanning fauna, flora, or minerals. After that, go to the Atlas Interface to upload your discoveries, and it will reward you with various Singularity-like Atlas seeds and teleport you to a random planet.
