I stopped in this system while surveying some nearby red-class stars, and was disappointed when I warped in on a pirate attack. While defending a freighter from the pirates, an accidental blast from my photon weapons slightly damaged the vulnerable freighter, and I was subjected to not only the pirates, but the system authorities! Even after defeating them, I couldn't shake them, so I hid out in the space station until the heat cooled, then decided to visit a planet or two while here. On Nugfielde III in particular, I found an interesting array of species. Most of the fauna here are airborne, including the P. Raphorpicoe, a flying beetle species which is technically this planet's only ground species. Aside from the flying creatures, there are two marine species, C. Polydivanae and S. Corpsighteum, both of which are floating Chrysaora. Swimmers beware-- not only is the water highly radioactive, but these species explode on contact, causing significant damage.
