Featured Base is a Space Anomaly hosted destination.
Summary[]
Featured Base is a regularly rotated list of tourist destinations to allow travelers to explore bases that are featured by Hello Games as particularly noteworthy to the community.
The Featured Bases lists allows anyone aboard the Space Anomaly to easily visit and be inspired by other base creators.
Game Usage[]
The traveler should summon the Space Anomaly, and land in the landing bay. Upon exiting the ship the traveler should proceed to the Teleportation Terminal. There will be a select set of Featured Bases listed as one of the left menu options of destinations.
After selecting one of the bases, the traveler will be teleported to the destination and will arrive at the coordinates of the planet hosting the featured base. The traveler is able to summon their starships and freighter freely. The traveler will be permitted to deploy Base Computers on this planet and in other planets in this star system. Note that the traveler will not be able to construct within an extensive wide area radius of the featured base, in order to protect it from malicious build acts.
If the traveler enters into space beyond the planet hosting the feature base, the traveler is able to access the Galactic Map unlike when travelers reach a system using a portal.
