The Seht Research Group is a civilized space community.
Summary[ | ]
The Seht Research Group is a civilization dedicated to finding the wild and weird of the universe. This can range from impressive ships to planets containing amazing sights and creatures. All systems discovered by a researcher begin with the tag [SRG]. Typically we encourage members to find a certain region in space and claim it as their own. As an example our founder, BurningGinger, focuses on the Sea of Heladya region. Those who claim regions of their own are give the title of Senior Researcher. While those who assist them in exploring their region receive the title of Junior Researcher. Both Senior and Junior Researchers receive acknowledgements for the discoveries made.
Joining[ | ]
To join the Seht Research Group all that is needed is adding your name to the census. Afterwards we ask that you following the naming guidelines for systems you discover. Should you find a system that contains either a planet or ship of interest, it is encouraged that you either post it here or report the discovery to other members.

Naming Guidelines[ | ]
Members are encouraged to add certain tags to planets to allow others to identify that a Seht Research Group member discovered the system as well as provide useful info.
- [SRG] - Tag for any system discovered by a Seht Research Group member. Should start the name.
- (X) - Means the system contains one or more exotic planet.
- (!) - Indicates a system has a high (Level 3) combat level.
- ($) - Indicates the system has high wealth (Level 3).
Example: [SRG] Hlaalu (!$X)
In the example above the system named Hlaalu has high wealth, but also high conflict, and one or more exotic planet in orbit.

This research group has it's roots in the Hlaalu Trading Company, an organization from the Pathfinder era of No Man's Sky.
