Background[]
The Forerunners (Latin Primoris Prognatus meaning "first born") were once an highly advanced and ancient race created by The Creators (those who came before them). Under the Ecumene Empire they spread across galaxies thousands of years ago creating, building and fertilizing worlds where they guided other species. These in turn helped some of these species to evolve and progress as a civilization such as the Gek, the Vy'keen, the Korvax, and the Travellers. As of now, it is unknown if the Anomaly race was created along side the Forerunners, but legends mention the existence of Prehistoric Humanity (this has never been confirmed, records about this have been lost in history).
While all the other sentient species are Type 0 to Type 2 civilizations on the Kardashev scale, the Forerunners, on the other hand, achieved the Type 3 civilization. Being so powerful, the Forerunners took the role as custodians of the known galaxies and believed that The Mantle of Responsibility' were given to them by The Creators.
After an unknown event which had "reset" the multiverse thousands of years ago, the greatness of the Forerunners was lost into oblivion and what remained of the empire was dismantled into two factions (the Neo-Forerunners and the Jaegers). In recent times, knowing that other species and civilizations are emerging from the ashes of the ancient world, threatening to destabilize the balance of the universe, both factions decided to merge to become the new Forerunners and follow the footsteps of their ancestors under the [NMSPHF] federation.
The newly created [NMSPHF] federation went back to the homeworld of their ancestors and renamed it to New Ghibalb. It is located in the Ridnirus Boundary region of the Alpha Quadrant in the Euclid galaxy.
Legacy[]
After the great reset, the descendants of the Forerunners followed the footsteps of their ancestors by founding the new federation [NMSPHF] and reclaiming what remains of the technologies, artifacts and structures that was left by the original Forerunners.
Naming Guidelines[]
Members are encouraged to include the [NMSPHF] prefix when renaming systems, planets, and moons. The prefix on bases are optional.
Forerunners Intergalactic Astrospace Regulations[]
- Forerunners will continue expanding their astrospace under the act of the Mantle of Responsibility.
- Forerunners will not claim an already claimed territory.
- Forerunners will not claim a civilization's territory.
- Forerunners will claim an incomplete or undiscovered territory unless it violates line #2 and #3.
- If you see NMSPHF around you, it means you're within Forerunners' borders.
- In accordance to the regulations mentioned above, Forerunners will never contact the individual that has a partial claimed territory (incomplete discovery of a star system).
- If too many individuals are against it, line #4 can be dismissed/nullified.
