The Glitterpede Imperial Exploration Corporation or GPIEC (pronounced "G-peace") is a company in No Man's Sky and an official contractor of the Galactic Hub Project, particularly the Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps (GHEC) through the Corporation's own exploration division, GPIEC-EXO. In addition to its contract mission supporting the Galactic Hub, GPIEC seeks to be an active "corporate citizen" contributing to the intergalactic community and the United Federation of Travelers through public works construction projects and positive contributions to civilized space.
GPIEC is functionally headquartered on planet Owceston Ichic in the Ontiniangp galaxy, but also maintains several facilities in the territory of the Galactic Hub Project, in order to maintain proximity to the Corporation's largest client.
GPIEC is overseen by Warlord-CEO Glitterpede, a mostly-peaceful explorer and outpost builder.

Mission[ | ]
The mission of the Glitterpede Imperial Exploration Corporation is to acquire valuable scientific knowledge about the universe of No Man's Sky, with an emphasis on studying rare fauna, and to share gathered data with the intergalactic community for the benefit of all civilized space.
The Corporation is an official contractor of the Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps in the Euclid galaxy, and devotes a pluarlity of its resources to serving the Galactic Hub Project's scientific endeavors.
Before joining the Galactic Hub Project's exploration efforts, the Corporation conducted a survey mission in the Paavan Adjunct region of the Ontiniangp galaxy, charting all 555 star systems in the region. GPIEC has peacefully claimed the Paavan Adjunct as an interstellar real estate holding for the primary purpose of scientific research, where exploration will be prioritized and native life preserved to the greatest extent possible. To support its mission, GPIEC constructed minimally-invasive corporate facilities in several parts of the Adjunct, focusing on outpost construction in systems that lack the presence of any civilization in order to facilitate travel in these areas.
Following a renewed focus on the Euclid galaxy by the Corporation, the Paavan Adjunct has been placed under the management of Senior Vice President for Ontiniangp Affairs Glittersaur, who also serves as Commissioner of the Paavan Adjunct.

GPIEC Government Affairs has financed and constructed the GPIEC Intergalactic Science Pavilion, a sponsored attraction in the United Federation of Travelers Shared System, on planet To Document. The Pavilion features indoor exhibits, a sculpture garden, and a subterranean botanical garden, and is free for all visitors.

- Systems in the Paavan Adjunct are named with the prefix GPIEC1. If further regions are selected as GPIEC scientific conglomerations, the same naming convention will be relied upon.
- The Corporation prioritizes the study of and data acquisition regarding Fauna species, with an emphasis on all species of the Mogara and Rangifae genera, and unique or distinctive variations from any genus.
- Rare and interesting flora and minerals are studied whenever possible, and included in the documentation of discovered planets.

GPIEC is a corporate hierarchy under the command of Warlord-CEO Glitterpede, who sets policy and objectives for the Corporation with input from its executive Vice Presidents. The company has several divisions, overseeing various aspects of GPIEC operations.
GPIEC Exploration Division (GPIEC-EXO)[ | ]
The Exploration Division makes up the bulk of the Corporation's staff and resources, overseeing deployments to new planets, recording and transmitting data to civilized space, transmitting proprietary data to the Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps, and assigning missions to the company's exploration frigates. The Senior Vice President for Exploration is PS4 explorer AirisLocke, who also serves as the Deputy Executive of GPIEC.
GPIEC Paavan Adjunct Commission, Ontiniangp Galaxy (GPIEC-PAC)[ | ]
The Corporation governs the Paavan Adjunct through a commission overseen by Senior Vice President Glittersaur, who also manages all corporate operations in Ontiniangp.

GPIEC operations in the Calypso galaxy, including contract services to Galactic Hub Calypso, are overseen by SVP Glitterstrix and include both exploration and construction projects.
GPIEC Construction Services (GPIEC-CON)[ | ]
The Corporation's construction division is responsible for identifying ideal real estate properties, while confirming with GPIEC-EXO that outpost construction will be minimally disruptive to surrounding ecosystems. GPIEC-CON surveys selected lands, evaluates potential hazards, designs outpost architecture, and ultimately erects Corporation facilities. The Energy Systems Office within GPIEC-CON identifies ideal energy resources for corporate facilities, either tapping into existing electromagnetic hot spots or designing robust solar power systems with battery backups.
GPIEC-CON is also a key part of GPIEC's external support to its clients, namely the Galactic Hub Project. The division is managed by SVP Glitterbryk.
GPIEC Government Affairs (GPIEC-GOV)[ | ]
While a management entity in nature, GPIEC-GOV is too large to be a mere part of the Front Office. The division: meets with leaders of the Galactic Hub Project; maintains the Intergalactic Science Pavilion in the United Federation of Travelers shared system; represents the Corporation in dialog with governments, institutions, and other companies; and oversees public relations campaigns.
