The Galactic Hub Administrative Zone is a cluster of bases.

Summary[ | ]

The Galactic Hub Administrative Zone is a cluster of player bases, located on the planet Lozebuber J24 in a currently-unreleased system.

As it's a cluster of local bases, it could be viewed as a Colony. If so, it's a non-standard colony as the only builds permitted here are those directly approved by a Galactic Hub Chapter Director. All builds are also found under a single massive Bio-Dome similar to the Galactic Hub Production Domes.

Please do not build in this system.

Layout[ | ]

The massive biodome encompasses an area of purple-grass plains with tree groves of various sizes. Two prominent stone plateaus rise from the center, with a third stone plateau half-encased in the periphery of the dome. All buildings are found on this plateau; see "Administrative Zone Buildings" section below.

The plateaus are not easily accessible from ground-level. Access by starship is recommended.

Galactic Hub Capitol PS The Galactic Hub Capitol is the seat of the Galactic Hub's government.

Approaching from the southern plateau, across the Capitol Bridge, visitors will find themselves on the steps of the capitol. Large diplo statues watch eternally over the entrance - one labeled as Usbangium Bokonnes of Elysium, the Galactic Hub's lesser-known third capitol, and the other labeled as O. Sweetdatusawae of Drogradur NO426, the Galactic Hub's current capital planet. Between the two entrances, a the seal of the Galactic Hub can be found mounted to the wall. The official flag of the Galactic Hub flies proudly overhead.

The structure rises from a stone pyramid colored similarly to the stone of the plateau, a reminder of the Galactic Hub's place in the natural-digital order of the Simulation. On each corner of the roof, a glass sphere emits nearly-blinding white light. Four of these spheres are hover above the rooftop, each representing one of the guiding philosophies of the United Federation of Travelers - "To Document, To Aid, To Create, To Communicate." Between these four points, from the center of the rooftop, rises an 11-sided column housing the Council Chambers. Each side of the column represents one region of the Galactic Hub. Above the Council, a giant, warm, glowing sphere represents the Galactic Hub community in general. This places the Council physically below the representation of the Hub population, as the Council philosophically works below the will of the people.

The main chamber, a place for debate and meetings between individuals, stands mostly vacant. A single Short-Range Teleporter in the center of the room leads to the Council Chambers.

The Council Chambers is a room basked in a golden light, with special golden-trim Metal Walls, a difficult-to-come-by legacy base building part. A smaller glowing ball, again a representation of the will of the people of the Galactic Hub, is found at the center of the room. This represents the central nature of the people in the decision-making of the Council. The eleven-region motif is also repeated, with eleven ceiling-mounted Sphere Creators being the source of the golden light. Five rows of seats, each with a corresponding desk, surround the main floor which speakers or debating parties would occupy. The official banner of the Galactic Hub adorns the walls next to the Short-Range Teleporter you can use to exit.
Proceeding north through the Capitol, you'll exit into the Capitol Honor Gardens. Besides honoring Rigatori Niplatea of the first capital Drogradur NO425 and R. Musiretioe of the second capital New Lennon, this garden honors many of the interlopers who have contributed most significantly to the Galactic Hub, with more names being added frequently.

Continuing north, visitors will exit the capitol after a short paved area and enter the space for the as-of-yet-unconstructed Star League Park. Further north, the Galactic Hub Security Office rises from an outer edge of the plateau, brightly illuminated at night.

Galactic Hub Security Office PS The Galactic Hub Security Office (HUB SEC) is the capitol building representing the Galactic Hub Defense Force and the eponymous Galactic Hub Security Office.

Upon approach players will be greeted first by a large, illuminated "HUB SEC" sign in front of the building. A sidewalk divides the two words, leading to a courtyard centered around a golden monument. This monument features a GHDF Officer and statues representative of GHDF ships. A four-way sidewalk extends from this monument - the HUB SEC sign to the rear; the building entrance ahead; a landing pad to your right; and a landing pad, power storage tower, and ground-level teleporter to the left. Red Evergreen Trees, red Troglotulips, and street lights add life and light to the courtyard.

The Security Office building itself rises high above the plateau. At night, the front glows a bright blue, a color often used to represent the Hub and its citizens. An illuminated Galactic Hub Emblem is displayed proudly on a central post protruding from nearly the top of the building. A small overhang shades an area in front of the entrance, and a small shaded outdoor hallway extends to each side.

Entering the building through sliding glass doors capable of sealing with additional thick metal doors, visitors will find themselves in the lobby. An overhead Teleporter allows officers instant access to the Security Office. A heavily-armed receptionist's desk watches the lobby and guards the lockdown switch for the front entrance. To each side of this lobby, golden diplos watch stoically, another classic emblem of the Galactic Hub civilization. In the back of the bottom floor, an interrogation/interview room and a few dark, empty rooms can be found, likely for future use.

Upstairs, visitors will find the amenities available to security and GHDF officers: a research room with an Antimatter Reactor, a hydroponic NipNip grow room, an armory with a Hazard Protection Unit and out-of-order Health Station, a remote vehicle modification room, and a construction terminal room with a Base Salvage Capsule and a Construction Research Unit.

The third level is smaller, featuring a hologram display and an Appearance Modifier. A small teleporter on each end of the third floor teleports players to the Head Security Officer Office. This office features wall-mounted multitool displays, a desk, a Galactic Hub seal, and some miscellaneous decorations and lighting. It also has an excellent view over the rest of the building.

GHEC Administrative Zone Building XBox The GHEC Administrative Zone Building is the capitol building representing the Galactic Hub Exobiology Corps.

This building is accessible from both the plateau and the ground-level plains below. If visitors land at the plateau landing pads, they will be welcomed by an ornate tower featuring flames, golden diplo statues, and ample lighting. Trees and multicolored grass surround both the tower and the landing pads. Other representations of fauna, like golden Blob statues and Wriggling Companions, can also be spotted. Towards the south a small shack adorned with a massive skull houses Electromagnetic Generators. Ascending up this tower leads to a room with a carpet, a Short-Range Teleporter, and a great view.

The Short-Range Teleporter, or just the stairs, will take you to a room with a Short-Range Teleporter labeled "6" leading back up, a Short-Range Teleporter labeled "5" leading down, a regular Teleporter, and a Galactic Trade Terminal.

Entering the SRT labeled "5", or taking different stairs near the landing pads, brings you to a balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the plains separating the GHEC plateau from the other plateaus. There's another teleporter labeled "4" near the same "5" teleporter you exit from. A closed room houses the base computer, a chair, and a Hardy Shrub. The next level down is quite similar - a room with two SRTs, and a beautiful view of the plains.

Continuing down further, players may enter a series of larger rooms, including one featuring an actually-functional Health Station. Finally, heading down one more level, visitors will reach the last "balcony level" with one large room and one small room. From here, a long staircase (with one more SRT room at the top) extends all the way down to ground-level, where GHEC researchers and visitors alike may appreciate the planet's native diplo species and beautiful flora.
