GHBG
The Galactic Hub Builders Guild is a building organization.
Summary[ | ]
The Galactic Hub Builders Guild is a chapter of the Galactic Hub Project. The GHBG creates public bases for Hub colonies, the Galactic Hub Star League, and special events including PVP arenas, mazes, golf courses, race tracks, skee-ball, pinball, mini-games, stadiums, as well as major decorative builds such as capitol buildings and embassies.
The Guild seeks to enlist all builders in No Man's Sky, whether novice or master builder. The GHBG hosts events that teach the community; so we teach at all skill levels and welcome all builders.
Mission[ | ]
The mission of the Galactic Hub Builders Guild (GHBG) is to:
- To create practical and culturally relevant builds.
- To assist all Galactic Hub Chapters with building needs.
- To research and develop new building techniques and share them with the Hublic.
- To develop, train, and assist Galactic Hub citizens with tips, techniques, instructional videos, and @Architect calls. The Role @GHBG Builder has recently been revived.
- To share Hub-builds and building techniques with our citizens for their enjoyment and use via the Discord server, NMSGalacticHub on Reddit, YouTube.
Joining the Galactic Hub Builders Guild[ | ]
First, complete the GHBG Volunteer Form.
After filling out the GHBG Volunteer Form, the Guild Director progdog (Discord), or Founder BlackCatLair, will examine your volunteer application and, if needed, request any other relevant information.
The goal of this application is to help us understand your building capabilities, check the status of your Galactic Hub citizenship, and gauge your ability to commit time consistently or sporadically (we accept both!). After an application is processed, applicants will be contacted via reddit or discord.

Hierarchy[ | ]
The GHBG is organized into the following hierarchy:
- Atlas: This rank is reserved for the Director of the Galactic Hub. The Atlas maintains authority over the GHBG, and has final say over building matters and concerns.
- Director: This is the Director and Founder of the GHBG. The Director and Founder roles are interchangeable and are responsible for all building and construction matters relating to the Galactic Hub and oversees all GHBG operations. Directors establish and maintain the direction and vision of the GHBG. This role serves as the intermediary between the Atlas and the rest of the Guild.
- Manager: The manager will help run the day-to-day operations of the GHBG and help ensure quality and integrity of our builds and builders. The manager will be the first point of contact for any immediate questions or issues involving a particular project.
- Architect: All builders are classified as Architects regardless of build experience or particular skillset. As the most import role of the GHBG, Architects make the magic happen and show an affinity for building.
