Galactic Hub Capitol is a player base.
Summary[]
Galactic Hub Capitol is a player base, located on the planet Lozebuber J24 in the HUB10-198 Seo's Cove system. The Galactic Hub Capitol is the seat of the Galactic Hub Project's government.
Layout[]
Approaching from the southern plateau, across the Capitol Bridge, visitors will find themselves on the steps of the capitol. Large diplo statues watch eternally over the entrance - one labeled as Usbangium Bokonnes of Elysium, the Galactic Hub's lesser-known third capitol, and the other labeled as O. Sweetdatusawae of Drogradur NO426, the Galactic Hub's current capital planet. Between the two entrances, a the seal of the Galactic Hub can be found mounted to the wall. The official flag of the Galactic Hub flies proudly overhead.
The structure rises from a stone pyramid colored similarly to the stone of the plateau, a reminder of the Galactic Hub's place in the natural-digital order of the Simulation. On each corner of the roof, a glass sphere emits nearly-blinding white light. Four of these spheres are hover above the rooftop, each representing one of the guiding philosophies of the United Federation of Travelers - "To Document, To Aid, To Create, To Communicate." Between these four points, from the center of the rooftop, rises an 11-sided column housing the Council Chambers. Each side of the column represents one region of the Galactic Hub. Above the Council, a giant, warm, glowing sphere represents the Galactic Hub community in general. This places the Council physically below the representation of the Hub population, as the Council philosophically works below the will of the people.
The main chamber, a place for debate and meetings between individuals, stands mostly vacant. A single Short-Range Teleporter in the center of the room leads to the Council Chambers.
The Council Chambers is a room basked in a golden light, with special golden-trim Metal Walls, a difficult-to-come-by legacy base building part. A smaller glowing ball, again a representation of the will of the people of the Galactic Hub, is found at the center of the room. This represents the central nature of the people in the decision-making of the Council. The eleven-region motif is also repeated, with eleven ceiling-mounted Sphere Creators being the source of the golden light. Five rows of seats, each with a corresponding desk, surround the main floor which speakers or debating parties would occupy. The official banner of the Galactic Hub adorns the walls next to the Short-Range Teleporter you can use to exit. Proceeding north through the Capitol, you'll exit into the Capitol Honor Gardens. Besides honoring Rigatori Niplatea of the first capital Drogradur NO425 and R. Musiretioe of the second capital New Lennon, this garden honors many of the interlopers who have contributed most significantly to the Galactic Hub, with more names being added frequently.
Continuing north, visitors will exit the capitol after a short paved area and enter the Honor Garden. The Honor Garden mirrors statues from The Crown, the Galactic Hub's building in United Federation of Travelers space. These statues honor citizens with exceptional contributions to the Hub, and date all the way back to many of our most senior interlopers. Plants colored in blue and white, the colors of the Hub, decorate the garden. A central area hosts a variety of small exotic plants as well as crystals and rock formations, while the outer periphery of the garden is outlined with larger plants like trees or large bushes.
Continuing north beyond the garden, you will reach the space for the as-of-yet-unconstructed Star League Park. Further north still, the Galactic Hub Security Office rises from an outer edge of the plateau, brightly illuminated at night.

- Honor: AndyKrycek6, for merchandise & more.
Andy provided 3D-printed Hub merchandise and was the second-in-command of the Hub during its formative years. He was the 9th person to sign up for the Galactic Hub's historic Interloper List. - Honor: MrJordanMurphy, for unmatched security.
Jordan spearheads the Galactic Hub Defense Force as well as the lesser-known-but-equally-important GH Security Office. He's also current second-in-command of the Hub, and has occasionally acted as interim director while founder 7101334 had extended periods of unavailability. - Honor: Pahefu, for technology innovations.
Pahefu created the famous Pilgrim Star Path, which was key to navigating the early universe of No Man's Sky before Portals were added. He also created the 3D mapping program, the Hub Management System. He was the 6th interloper to sign up for the Interloper List. - Honor: morgvom_org, for emblem design & more.
morgvom created the Galactic Hub emblem as well as a majority of other emblems associated with the Galactic Hub Project (although generally not Galactic Hub Eissentam). He was the 112th person to sign up for the Interloper List. - Honor: nmskibbles, for revolutionary builds.

Phaedrus has built the GHEC into what it is today, a massive and successful research and documentation organization. He was the 4th person to sign up for the Interloper List. - Honor: seamonkey420, for dedicated service.
seamonkey has consistently contributed in a variety of areas, such as creating a (now defunct) wiki script generator to help people create wiki pages, as well as being a consistent source of positivity in the Hub community. - Honor: hollyvalero, for Galaxy Donuts & more.
Holly created the Hub's first restaurant chain, long before food was actually even added to the game, and even longer before the Hub had functional restaurant businesses. She's also been a long-term fixture in the greater NMS community even beyond the Hub. She was the 12th person to sign up for the Interloper List. - Honor: Corvus, for tech & custom companions.
Corvus provided frequent insight into the inner workings of the simulation - that is, providing is with data mining and other insights into the game's code. She was also the interloper who made the Jurassic Hub Project, a project which revived extinct, historically-significant Hub species, possible. - Honor: RedFalcons, for HUber Service.
RedFalcons, besides being a general fixture in the Hub community and generally helpful, was honored for a period in which he was consistently HUber-ing (providing player-assisted travel) to nearly every newcomer who requested a ride, helping to grow the Hub population. - Honor: Augment Echo, for Star League.
Although it was founded by 7101334, with early progress made by MrSllim, it was the team of Augment Echo and Grimr0c which finally saw the GH Star League succeed as a competitive "simulation sports" organization. - Honor: Grimr0c, for Star League.
Although it was founded by 7101334, with early progress made by MrSllim, it was the team of Grimr0c and Augment Echo which finally saw the GH Star League succeed as a competitive "simulation sports" organization. - Honor: Seyurie, GH Eissentam founder

7101334 founded the Galactic Hub Project. It was inspired by combining the Pilgrim Star concept, where many players were navigating to a single area of space, with coordinate-sharing threads, where people shared the location of interesting or helpful content. - Honor: SullyKiwi, for Social Nights & more
Aside from being a consistently positive and helpful presence in the Hub community, Sully was honored for his work organizing the Hub's first (and many of its current) Social Nights. He has also contributed substantially to the Hub's PVP scene, such as with Khan Corporation's PVP school. - Honor: ApexFatality, for tech & leadership.
Apex contributed to the discussions determining the implementation of HubCoin, the Hub's native currency. Italic is a consistently helpful and positive interloper, dedicating impressive amounts of time to helping new interlopers find their way and their place in our community. He's also contributed in other ways, such as launching and governing the Miradoma colony. - Honor: Fibs, for HubCoin economy work.

Zaowly single-handedly created content which substantially contributed not just to the Hub but all of civilized space, providing chill soundtracks to listen to while interloping, with immersive, civilized-space-related advertisements and announcements between tracks.
