Formed by intrepid explorers, renegades, and dreamers, Galactica became a beacon for those who yearn to venture beyond the known, to chart the uncharted, and to uncover the mysteries of the cosmos.

The origins of Galactica trace back to the era of the First Spawn, the once-dominant Gek Empire that sought to subjugate the stars. During the height of their rule, a powerful Gek warlord known as Zathaal the Dominus carved out a vast dominion within the First Spawn’s reach, establishing the Galactica Empire; more details can be found in our core library at Lore of Galactica.

Galactica's mission is simple yet profound: to explore new worlds, to discover the unknown, and to forge a path where none exists. Each member of the fleet is a vital part of this grand odyssey, contributing their unique skills to navigate treacherous nebulae, decode alien languages, and delve into the heart of enigmatic ruins. Together, we seek the knowledge that lies beyond the horizon, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Our community provides the possibility to run missions in No Man sky and at the same time advance with the career in Galactica thanks to a very special Discord bot developed by us StarGekker that we use to generate community missions:

Economy System & Stock Market[]
Galactica has officially adopted its own currency and economy system. The currency has been named Star Bucks and it is used and promoted for trading within the whole Aukawa Fringe region. In addition to that a new stock market has been created and is officially used by all Galacticans to invest their savings.
Civilisation Simulator - Work in Progress[]
Galactica government is actively working on an internal simulator which will close the loop with the economy system and completely integrated with the No Man Sky simulation. Every base built within the republic is simulated by our newly coded Discord bot "Interloper" which will simulate base daily revenue, maintenance costs, impacts on the stock market, building licenses and more.
Naming Guidelines[]
Members are encouraged to name systems/planets/moons with Galactica Prefix followed by the existing name. We also follow a color coding convention which is defined in our Discord server. But by default we add <GREEN> in front of the name so the color is set to green for all systems and stars. We mark as red all Systems containing a paradise planet, yellow Systems containing a gas giant.
The name of the system should also contain the initial letter of the region it belongs to if this is not the hoke region Aukawa Fringe.
Format:

1) Respect All Members: Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated within Galactica community.
2) Keep It Clean: No explicit content. This includes offensive language, images, and links in our Discord server.
3) No Personal Attacks: Attack arguments, not people. Personal attacks or insults will result in disciplinary action.
4) Constructive Criticism: Provide constructive feedback, and be open to receiving the same. Toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
5) Fair Play: Cheating, exploiting glitches, or any form of dishonest play is not allowed.
6) No Griefing: Do not intentionally disrupt or ruin the game experience for other players.
7) Help New Players: Be supportive and helpful to new players. Share knowledge and tips to enhance their experience.
8) Protect Personal Information: Do not share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
