Gek-Zuma Empire is a civilized space community.

Summary

Gek-Zuma Empire is a Civilized space community.

It is located in the Nodgoulu Sector of the Euclid galaxy.

This is The Gek-Zuma Empire. Exclusively a Gek Empire driven to become a force of peace and strength in the galaxy through loyalty to its Gek citizens. With its grand feats of architecture known as "mega cities", The Gek-Zuma Empire is a community full of active, talented and helpful players with the determination to build a strong and sophisticated Empire under the rule of Emperor Zuma. The Empire has grown in numbers significantly since its formation and has become to make its name as a great community within Civilized space. Geks of The Gek-Zuma Empire are willing to pledge their life to their almighty Gek Emperor, who has promised to rebuild a better reputation for the Gek race and to become one of the most prosperous empires in history.

The Gek-Zuma Empire has friendly imperial relationships with the following Empires:

  1. Elysium
  2. Central Empire
  3. Albion Dominion
  4. Galactica

Members of The Gek-Zuma Empire are able to take in-game missions, assignments, contracts, and tasks through StarGekker, their custom Discord bot developed by KPS (KingPengStudio). Members gain role points towards their roles with the more missions they complete and will have the option of various promotions once certain levels of points are reached.

Members are categorized into 3 core roles:

  1. Soldiers
  2. Explorers
  3. Architects
  • Soldiers make up the Empire’s military and are the ones who defend the home worlds. They are commanded by the General who is the 2nd in command of the Empire. Their missions include primarily any PvE battles around imperial territory and they are the ones who are selected to participate in PvP events, defend the system during lockdowns, invading hostile systems, etc. There are 2 main higher ranking military divisions you can be promoted to: GZE Special Forces and the Nova Division.
  • Explorers expand knowledge and territory. They discover new systems to build in, use for resources, or anything else the empire finds useful there. Explorer missions involve exploring and expanding your discovery log while also rewarding you with role points for them. The empire has 20+ explorer ranks you can work your way through and a higher ranking division of explorers you can be promoted to called the GZE Science Division.
  • Architects make up the Empire’s talented group of builders in the community. It is recommended, not required, that the architects use creative mode or custom mode with unlimited resources to build because the Empire’s community builds are almost impossible to do in normal mode or any other mode. However, there are still some very dedicated members who do all their mega builds in normal. The missions for architects are very basic but give a lot of rank points. They usually involve you building a specific base similar to the Nexus mission you can take.

Whether its role playing, material grinding, ship hunting, mission help, or making new friends The Gek-Zuma Empire has it all.

Mission

The mission of The Gek-Zuma Empire is to become the most renown and powerful Empire among the best communities while rebuilding a better reputation for the Gek race. The Gek-Zuma Empire does not support or wish to revive the First Spawn Empire. Instead, they want their Empire to make a new name for the Geks highlighting their sophistication and peacefulness hoping to replace the prejudice their ancestors brought upon them. The leaders of the Empire have one desire and that is to ensure that The Gek-Zuma Empire is at the top of the list when it comes to the best No Man's Sky communities. They have made a big enough name for themselves to prove that they will not give up on their mission no matter the challenges. The Gek-Zuma Empire will not stop until they have become a top-tier Civilized Space community.

Background

The Gek-Zuma Empire was co-founded on September 26, 2023 by Gek-General and Zuma the 1st. The empire saw the construction of its original capital on planet Gek-Zuma 7 of the Ildnin System prior to its relocation. Gek-General and Zuma the 1st were just 2 Geks who disliked how the Geks have been treated after the fall of the First Spawn long ago and had a vision of bringing power, royalty and respect to the Gek name. They noticed that with Zuma the 1st's leadership skills and Gek-General's ability to rally followers, they would be able to form the Empire with the small band of followers they had at the time and voice their vision to every Gek in the galaxy.

Naming Guidelines

Members are required to name systems they wish to add as imperial territory with "Gek-" followed by any name (example: Gek-Ulo). The same applies to naming planets/moons but can be in any order (it is recommended to just add "Gek-" to the front of the original generated name to make it easier).

Joining

If you are interested in joining The Gek-Zuma Empire, you must join the Discord.

Becoming an official member requires new members to complete the verification process and be named an official Zumarian (citizen of The Gek-Zuma Empire) by the Council. After verification, it will also be required that new members follow the GZE outfit requirements. There is more information within the Discord.

Join today and work your way up the ranks!

Rules

The following rules have been copy and pasted from the official Discord server.

1 : Our members must have at least one outfit saved as a Gek character with the correct armor set. You can have up to 3 outfits saved in game and a purple Gek must be one of them. This is the official Imperial outfit requirement. If you like being a different race that’s okay, just be sure to use this outfit when you’re playing with us. Read the Armor Sets page to find your required armor set.

2 : All members must have at least one base built on Gektopia or Gek Haven. These are our home planets (located in Glyphs Channel) and are where you’ll find the majority of our bases.

3 : To add a discovered system to the Empire, you must have the Explorer role and post a screenshot of the system that follows our naming guidelines in the Discovery Log with its location and any additional information you can write about it (adds to your explorer rank).

4 : System naming requirements: You must start the name with “Gek-” followed by anything you want (example: Gek-Ulo). We encourage that you use the random generated name as the 2nd part of the name to make things easier.

5 : If you are not an official diplomat, in a leader role or ambassador in our community, you do not have the permission to undergo any diplomatic action on behalf of the Empire. This includes any alliance discussions, peace negotiations, trade agreements, sending military assistance, and declarations of war. Please notify a leader if any community contacts you under diplomatic terms.

6 : Do not give out or post our glyphs or coordinates anywhere under any circumstance. Our location is exclusive to our members only.

7 : Specialized Imperial Animals cannot be traded to outsiders of the Empire. These animals can only be acquired from our Beast Masters who will also have more information about them.

8 : Enforce our airspace. If you notice unauthorized personnel in any of our systems, you must confront them and if they are not members of GZE or on our allies list inform them to leave immediately. Always check unrecognized player pings and the nearby player list for these players.

9 : Respect your fellow Geks.

10 : Keep everything PG-13. There will be no inappropriate 18+ content or behavior allowed in this server including anything linked or written in your profile.

11 : This server is strictly for organizing our community. DO NOT use this server as a way to find players for separate reasons unrelated to the purpose of this server (Includes self-promotion, don’t advertise other civs, etc).

Gekiapolis

Mega Cities

Gekiapolis

The city of Gekiapolis is the imperial capital of the Empire. The construction of the city consists of a mix of stone and alloy building pieces with stone roads and alloy buildings. The city saw its first development in early November 2023 with visions for it to be one of the largest and most complex cities ever built in the game and, at 14k building pieces, has become to live up to those standards. It was also the very first base placed in our home system which was prior to the relocation from the original home system, Ildnin, to Zuma Delta. The city has a unique look to it with a spacey/western feel to the streets and visuals. The use of foliage on the rooftops and around buildings makes the city feel alive creating a more immersive experience when visiting the city. The downtown district of the city is home to many lively locations but none are more important than the Tower of Zuma. Located in the heart of the city, the Tower of Zuma is where special meetings and work regarding galactic relations is carried out. The top two floors of the tower consist of the Emperor’s Penthouse Palace with a balcony view of the city. The city is only accessible to visit by official members.

Gek'Tash City

Gek’Tash City is currently the most populated city in the Empire. The city is a massive hub where you can find any traveler from merchants, to diplomats, to even pirates all amongst each other. It is a city where travelers of every race can sit down at a bar together, hang out, have a drink, and forget their differences. The city is built over the water with traders able to access it from land, air and sea. The city layout is a long strip stretching over the ocean with shops, restaurants, apartments, and bars lined up along the decorated roads. Many of these shops and restaurants are player-operated and you will be able to purchase food and commodities from real players if their shop is open. Behind all of the buildings on the main road is the city’s temple which is a good escape from the hectic city to relax and do some worshipping in the temple grounds. The city gets its signature look from the large stone skyscrapers covered in lush foliage making it feel like you are in a city in the jungle. At the end of the roads you will reach the executive district with the Royal Executive Tower there, the largest building in the city. This tower is where foreign galactic leaders and diplomats meet to discuss relations and trade and is closed for citizens to enter. After you get past security on the bottom floor you can ascend to the meeting room which is on the top floor. The walls of the meeting room are all glass giving the massive room great lighting around the meeting table and the Emperor’s podium. The city is only accessible to visit by official members.

Gek'Vollia City

Gek’Vollia City is different from every other base because it is a build that pushes the absolute limits of base building in No Man’s Sky. It is split into 4 sectors: North, East, South, and West with each sector having its own base computer. Upon completion it will be the largest No Man’s Sky build ever with an estimated 60,000 building pieces. This amount of building pieces in one area is only possible because each sector is its own base owned by separate players for each. The name “Gek’Vollia City” is derived from the in game Gek language. It translates roughly to “City of Two” which refers to the Moon it resides on and its relationship to the planet it is in orbit of. Gek’Vollia is built almost entirely with stone giving its buildings a more grand design that fit the look of the Temple District, the focal point of the city. The Temple District, or South Gek’Vollia, is home to the Moon Temple which is the largest structure within the 4 sectors of the city. Within the Temple District you will not only find a magnificent stone temple, there is also a market with shops set up along the perimeter. The South sector doesn’t have much of a residential area but more of an area to sight see, shop, eat, and drink. The North sector is where you’ll find North Gek’Vollia City. This sector is more private and protected than the rest of the city. Within the North sector is the main landing port and a larger residential area. There is a hill that this sector surrounds which is where the Emperor’s Imperial Palace rests on top of. The city is only accessible to visit by official members.
