Gojoshu Fairgrounds is a player base.

Summary[ | ]

Gojoshu Fairgrounds is a player base, located on the planet Gojoshu in the Miradoma system (HUB2-116), within the Galactic Hub.

Layout[ | ]

The Gojoshu Fairgrounds are an amusement park and collection of mini-games, inspired by Galactic Hub HUBcoin social nights and designed for multiplayer interactions. A sprawling lakeside park with more than 15 interactive games and attractions to explore! The fairgrounds are free and open for use to any and all players of No Man's Sky. As a thank you to my friends, I've dedicated this base to Italicinterloper, BeefyScreech, DrthWanda, and GizmoKhan - I hope you find your influences here both evident and honorable.

Features[ | ]

Spitter Ball (SkeeBall)

  • Camera: First Person / Third Person
  • Multi Tool:  Pulse Spitter / Boltcaster

To Play: Press the button on the left side of the sphere generator. Melee or "gently" shoot the ball to initiate a roll. Shoot the ball to accelerate its trajectory towards the goal. A successful goal is indicated by an automatic respawn of your ball at the top of the hill. If your ball does not make the goal, press or shoot the button again to reset. Note* Multiple spheres may clutter the game board in multiplayer session - a Neutron Cannon will easily clear unwanted spheres. {WARNING} Ensure PvP is OFF before using a Neutron Cannon in populated areas.

Suggested Rules: Each player makes 10 rolls, Highest amount of successful goals wins.

BioShot (Pop-a-Shot)

  • Camera: First Person
  • Multi Tool: Easy: Boltcaster / Normal: Pulse Spitter / Hard: Mining Laser

To Play: Press the button in the center of the play area. Align your shot and shoot the ball over the obstacles and towards the hoop. A successful goal is indicated by an automatic respawn of your ball in front of you. If your ball does not make the hoop, press or shoot the button again to reset. Note* Multiple spheres may clutter the game board in multiplayer sessions - Neutron Cannon will easily clear unwanted spheres. {WARNING} Ensure PvP is OFF before using a Neutron Cannon in populated areas.

Suggested Rules: Each player sets a timer for 60 seconds and attempts to make as many successful shots as possible. The highest score in the allotted time wins.

Tiny Tees Driving Range

  • Camera: First Person
  • Multi Tool: Scatter Blaster / Neutron Cannon

To Play: Generate a sphere directly from the pedestal. Aim and shoot spheres into the lake… and beyond! Suggested Rules: Each player takes turns driving their spheres into low planetary orbit. Everyone wins as they watch them fly off into the distance.

Double Trouble Ball Trap

  • Camera: First Person
  • Multi Tool: Player 1 Scatter Blaster / Player 2 Weapon of Choice

To Play: Player 1 stands at the sphere generator and spawns a new ball. Player 2 stands towards the beach so the spheres launch over their head into the lake. Player 2 gives a command to "PULL" when they are positioned and ready to shoot. Player 1 blasts the ball, serving it up above in the air over the lake. Player 2 attempts to blast the ball while it flies through the air. Successful contact counts as a point.

Suggested Rules: Each player takes turns as "puller" and "shooter" receiving 5 pulls to try and shoot out of the air. The highest score wins. In the event of a TIE, a second-round with 3 pulls is recommended. If the result is still a tie, remaining players go to 1 pull sudden death.

Thrill Rides[ | ]

Critical Damage (Freefall Machine)

To Ride: Step into the large sideways teleporter at the bottom of the machine. You will teleport to the top and fall back into the bottom teleporter. Until you fall out of alignment or move your position manually you will continue to fall. WARNING* This machine may cause fall damage when player camera is knocked out of alignment. Ride at your own risk.

Quantum Scrambler

To Ride: Each teleporter is tied to one another in a continual loop. Entering one is the same as entering them all so your exit location is completely random. Make note of the number indicators on the floor around each teleporter and test to see that your position may be randomized no matter where you enter. This machine can be used to "roll" for any desired purpose. Each player picks a number to enter, but are given the number of the teleporter they exit. If a player is ejected from the machine they "ZERO out".

Compact Colossus Launcher

To Ride: Step up the ladder to the launch platform and summon a compact colossus. Enter the exocraft and BUCKLE UP!

Abyssal Beach Exo-Slide

To Ride Lil' Nauti: Ensure the ramp area is CLEAR and summon your very own miniature Nautilon. The exocraft will barrel roll its way towards the water on its own but if its gets stuck you may give it a push or resummon it from the station to have it roll again. Attempting to enter your Nautilon during launch is not recommended in first person view.

To Ride Lil Nomad: Summon exocraft from far side platform. Upon entering, you will be launched immediately and directly towards the Nautilon Race Track. Please ensure the launch area is clear before entering.

Enjoy the Gojoshu sunset with accompanied views of Atlas Isle and the Nautilon Course. (The park owner's favorite spot to cast a line is right here, behind the patio of the Munchin' Mordite)

Miradoma Caster-Court[ | ]

1v1 - Red and blue players start the game from opposite sides of the "locker room" balcony. The central locker room button spawns an initial sphere at center court. Once the button is pressed, players rush to their goalie position to "check" their side. Players may not shoot the ball until they have made check. After check, players are free to move freely in the court and shoot the ball. Players attempt to drive the ball into the opponents net either directly through the goal posts or off the "backboard" corner ramps. First to 5 points wins the round. Best of 3 rounds wins.

2v2 - Same rules as 1v1 but players are split into a fixed defensive position on goalie stand, and a free moving offense player. Both players still make check at game start but the goalie stays in place for the entire game defending the goal.

Lil Nauti' Aqua Loop[ | ]

The Race Initiator at the north point of the Nautilon track is the starting line. The track moves counter clockwise starting with a left turn around the Tentacle Spire and through the oversized moon doors. An exocraft station can be found underneath the central podium. Note* The miniature Nautilon available at the Abyssal ExoSlide makes a fun alternate option for this race.

Nitro Canyon Barrel Race[ | ]

The starting line is marked by the oversized bytebeat cables connecting Gas Extractor 1 to the outside wall. While mounted on ground fauna, players start their run by racing around each Gas Extractor and back to the starting line. Fastest time around all 3 barrels and back wins. See course map for suggested layout use. Bystanders are encouraged to keep to the grand stands to avoid interfering with timed runs.

Blob’s "Big Bend" Fauna Course[ | ]

Race bystanders are encouraged to make use of the multiple viewing platforms and hot air balloons positioned around the track. A timed race starts at the Diplo statue gate and include 3 counter clockwise laps around the course, ending at the Bytebeat finish line. Ground Fauna are suggested, but the mini-roamer available near the course gate makes for a great single player experience on this small but technical course.
