Gravemind Expeditionary Force is a fictional civilized space exploration agency. It is a private exploration agency (PEA) that works within and for the AGT. It was founded on 2nd February 2025 (AGT Stardate 3741.2.2)).
Summary[]
The Gravemind Expeditionary Force (GMEF) is an exploration force founded by AGT Explorer IGravemind to expand the reach of the Alliance of Galactic Travellers across remote regions of the universe. Expeditions are planned and carried out by GMEF leadership, usually with the goal of exploring a particular galaxy, region, or cluster of star systems.

Expeditions[]
Official expeditions of the GMEF can only be approved by GMEF or AGT Command and should primarily focus on the exploration of distant or remote regions of a galaxy; usually tens or hundreds of thousands of light years from recognised AGT space. The GMEF is not limited to where it can launch expeditions, with the only exception being into space claimed by other civilisations and factions formally recognised by the AGT.

Joining the GMEF[]
To join the GMEF, you must reach out to it's Commander IGravemind to under-go a screening process. If successful you will be included into the roster of Force members, and may have the option to deploy, plan, or organise expeditions to remote regions of space.
To be eligible for the GMEF you must:
- Be extremely adept at survival. Exploring remote regions of space is not easy, and you'll often be left with little to no access to the AGT Defence Force.
- Possess a mobile headquarters, such as a freighter, with will allow you to easily repel hostile forces and scan entire star systems with ease (for the sake of data collection).
- Be willing and prepared to undertake an expedition that could easily last weeks or months.
- Be capable of keeping detailed logs of your expedition for the sake of updating the AGT Galactic Archives.
- Agree to document your explorations for the company. The company will provide templates using Google Sheets for you to use. Ideally the traveller should be able to document themselves using this NMS Wikipedia.
- Join the AGT or/and its respective traveller foundations.
- Identify your email, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit user handles to Gravemind Expeditionary Force Founder (It is acceptable and preferred you use userid/handles specific to NMS content)
- Accept that Gravemind Expeditionary Force may reference your handles/IDs on the NMS wikipedia for content contributed

Member Documentation of Discoveries[]
Members of the GMEF are obligated to submit their discoveries to the company and to create wiki pages for them. Further details will be provided upon joining the company. The company will provide training and tools to assist in the wiki page preparation.
GMEF Galactic Naming Guidelines[]
- All star systems discovered by the expeditionary force must adhere to AGT Naming Convention Guidelines and include the suffix 'GMEF' on the end of system names. This is inclusive of traveller foundation suffixes.
For example:
A system originally called 'Tero XV' in the Hyades galaxy would have the following name:
- AGT Tero XV GMEF-HTF
If the 'Tero XV' system lay within Euclid, the name would be:
- AGT Tero XV GMEF
Only use the GMEF suffix on systems discovered during an expedition and only unclaimed systems may be claimed by the GMEF and AGT respectively.
Planets follow the same naming convention.
