The Alpha gender of H. Vanadaombium is a large Lesser Mushroom Beetle with a bell cap mushroom growing on its back. The Radical is more crustaceous, with large claws and a red collar along the sides and back of the top of its shell.

Their finely-tuned sense of smell draws them to the most beautiful, richly-scented flowers, which they then consume whole.
