Himannis is a moon in No Man's Sky.
Summary
Himannis is a moon of the planet Racian in the Aforts star system , which is located in the Aslees Boundary region of the Eissentam galaxy on the PS4 version of No Man's Sky universe.
Description
All it takes is one glance at the frosted silhouette of Himannis to know that it is a frozen world. From outer space it appears as a white globe with reflective streaks of blue and grey. The planet is composed of hard brown stone that provides a bumpy and rocky landscape, but it’s all concealed by a white sheet of snow; snow is the dominant scenery. Enormous, flat-topped shafts of stone – large enough to land on and build on – stand towering over the world. Their sides are too steep for snow to accumulate on them and they are too tall to scale with only a jetpack . Not only is Himannis covered over with snow but there is enough moisture that the air fosters frost clouds. Visibility is generally good, but there are times of day – and especially during blizzards – that visibility is reduced from the frost. The planet is an extreme weather planet. Cold protection will be active constantly while unsheltered. Days and nights have a steady temperature of -134.6°F/-92.6°C, while storms will lower the mercury to -185.1°F/-120.6°C.
