Explorer's Notes[ | ]

This harsh red star system is a place of solitude, if nothing else. The three planets are abandoned, as is the system itself, having no space station. Nothing watches this system-- not even the Sentinels, who have abdicated every planet here. Of the three planets, Izep XIX is a dry desert world, Unky 20/M8 is ice cold, and something happened on Spiaeina to create an incredibly beautiful red landscape, populated by an enormous variety of fauna, but the planet itself has the aura of a dying world.

As an explorer, I must wonder what happened to this system to cause even the Sentinels to abandon it. Spiaeina isn't a hostile world, though if living there long-term one might want to obtain a color-shifting visor. The variety of species is wide and non-hostile, and yet.... there is something unsettling about the place. I suppose whatever tragedy befell this system, it does make for a good potential future home for hardy pioneers (or those who for their own reasons wish to remain out of sight of the ever-watchful Sentinels and other galactic authorities.)
