I. Ovissleum is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is an especially large member of the Bos genus, with some examples reaching 8.3m tall. The creature is nicknamed "Scorpius" after a giant scorpion from Greek mythology (the origin of the constellation's name).

Encountered on New Fenr, where they have adapted to the nuclear catastrophe that enveloped the planet. Long-lived and gentle, their rich lives and complex society hierarchy allow them to develop wisdom that rivals technologically advanced species. They root through the undergrowth in search of food, chewing at the heads of ripe grasses.
