In Stellar Multitudes is a mission that starts at the end of the main storyline.
Mission Requirements[]
In order to start mission, you need to:
- Complete They Who Returned storyline mission.
- Complete The Atlas Path storyline mission.
Engage your starship's pulse drive. The quest will start automatically after engaging pulse drive.
Walkthrough[]
Divergence Fragment[]
Before the mission is triggered, the starship's pulse engine will deactivate and a Divergence Fragment Space Encounter will appear in front of them. The fragment will attempt to communicate with you through the starship communicator. When you open the communicator, the fragment will say hello to you and asks if you are a "Wearer-Entity" or a "Worn-Entity". After further conversation, ending the communications starts the mission.
Memories of Atlantid[]
The mission will prompt you to enter a system with dissonant worlds if you are not already in one, then prompts you to land on a dissonant world. Once landed on a dissonant world, the player is prompted to scan for Echo Seeds which can be done using the Analysis Visor's Target Sweep mode. When reaching a Sentience Echo, activate a Scan Harmoniser or Polyphonic Core to enable mining.
Once 3 Echo Seeds have been gathered, the player is prompted to compile Memories Of Atlantid. After compiling, the player needs to activate the pulse drive to scan for the Divergence Fragment's wavelength. When the Divergence Fragment has been found, deactivate the pulse drive and open communications. After some dialogue, the fragment will leave and the player is prompted to find and enter an Atlas Interface.
The Scaffold[]
Once entering the Atlas Interface, the player needs to sideload the Memories Of Atlantid. Once sideloading, various options are available:
- Payload α
- When selecting Payload α, the following sub choices are available. When selecting one of these sub choices, you are given the further choice to manifest the memory or to select a different sub choice.
- Witness memory: 'Gek'
- Witness memory: 'Vy'keen'
- Witness memory: 'Korvax'
- Witness memory: 'Uncharted'
- After selecting one of the above sub choices, the unselected options for sideloading are available again.
- Payload β
- When selecting Payload β, the following sub choices are available. When selecting one of these sub choices, you are given the further choice to manifest the memory or to select a different sub choice.
- Witness memory: 'Titan'
- Witness memory: 'Flood'
- Witness memory: 'Paradise'
- After selecting one of the above sub choices, the unselected options for sideloading are available again.
- Payload γ
- When selecting Payload γ, the following sub choices are available. When selecting one of these sub choices, you are given the further choice to manifest the memory or to select a different sub choice.
- Witness memory: 'Storm'
- Witness memory: 'Horror'
- Witness memory: 'Hunted'
- After selecting one of the above sub choices, the unselected options for sideloading are available again.
Once all payloads have been selected, you are allowed to examine the properties you've selected. You are further allowed to edit one of your previous choices above or lock in your choices, creating a new Star system.
Payload α chooses the primary lifeform of the system: Gek, Vy'keen, Korvax or Uncharted.
Payload β chooses the properties of the primary celestial body: Gas giant, Water world or Paradise planet.
Payload γ chooses the properties of the secondary celestial body: Extreme weather, Nest of horrors or Overrun by Sentinels.
When locking in their choices, The Atlas then propagates a timeline to the local scaffold matrix, leading to a purple coloured Star system being restored from deletion.
A New Star[]
The Divergence Fragment appears in front of the Atlas Interface upon leaving to tell the player about a shift in the stars, that being the purple coloured Star system. They are prompted to open the Galactic Map where the player sees the Star system they have restored. Once leaving the Galactic Map, the dialogue continues, with the Divergence Fragment going to follow you to the new Star system. Unfortunately, the player isn't able to go to the Star system at that moment, due to the lack of an Atlantid Drive. After more dialogue, the Divergence Fragment leaves and you are prompted to travel to the Space Anomaly and talk to the Assembled Construct.
After some dialogue, the Assembled Construct will give you the blueprints for the Atlantid Drive, followed by more dialogue.
The player now needs to make an Atlantid Drive to continue, at which point the player is prompted to travel to the restored system.
Once reaching the Purple coloured Star system, the player must summon the Space Anomaly and notify the Assembled Construct of their safe arrival.
After more dialogue with the Assembled Construct, the player then needs to talk with Specialist Polo and Priest Entity Nada about allowing the Autophage into the system, including the Divergence Fragment, the player receives the Reality Anchor blueprint.
Anchoring Reality[]
Once the player constructs the Reality Anchor, they must go to the Space Anomaly and show the constructed Reality Anchor to Specialist Polo and Priest Entity Nada.
After showing the Reality Anchor to Specialist Polo and Priest Entity Nada, you'll need to go to the Korvax Simulation Terminal to bind the restored system to reality. Due to a failure, dialogue continues and you receive the blueprint for the Anomalous Scaffold in order to fix it.
After crafting the Anomalous Scaffold, the player is prompted to go to the Space Anomaly and continue from where they left off previously. Once done, you'll need to leave the Space Anomaly to tell the Divergence Fragment about the newly anchored system. This prompts the player to open the Galactic Map, where every deleted Star system has been restored. When leaving the Galactic Map, the dialogue continues and you get to say goodbye to the Divergence Fragment as they explore the many purple coloured star systems in the galaxy.
