Activities[edit | edit source]

Current Activities[edit | edit source]

Community Expeditions
Partecipate in the current and future community expeditions. It has to be noted that even if this activity has priority due to its time limited nature, and we, at Intergalactic Discoveries, are all very thrilled by the Community Expeditions, we really don't know how much this activity is time consuming and how much it will strand us away from our main core mission. Given that Intergalactic Discoveries is a small company, its productivity cannot be spread thin on too much concurrent activities. It's very probable that Intergalactic Discoveries will partecipate fully in the first Community Expedition, but after that there will need time to think about and evaluate the ROI, above all in a benefits/effort ratio point of view.
Dajari Mass Exploration
Explore, discover and document the whole region.
Udzerbi Nebula Foothold Building
Explore, discover and document enough star systems in the Udzerbi Nebula to secure an adequate company foothold very close to a gateway system to get a permanent and safe route to the other galaxies.
Meparsihbe Exploration & Documentation
Explore, discover and document the star systems in the Meparsihbe region.
Intergalactic Exploration Campaign
Explore, discover and document other galaxies different than Eissentam, above all the least explored, least documented and more remote to keep up with the company core mission. This is more an extensive and very long lasting campaign than just a single one activity, this is going to generate a huge number of further activities along its carrying out.
Edible Research
Research and document edibles and their effects on anomalies and travellers.

Past Activities[edit | edit source]

Foundation
Establish the company HQ and be recognized officialy.
Eissentam Gateways Probing
Find a suitable region next to the Eissentam Galaxy Centre with enough undiscovered star systems to use as a safe foothold to project company activities in the other galaxies.

Background[edit | edit source]

The company was founded as soon as Hlfpst11, its founder, has started the mission New Beginnings.

Partnerships[edit | edit source]

At the moment Intergalactic Discoveries has no active partnerships.

Guidelines[edit | edit source]

Be polite and respectful with every other player, ever.

Naming conventions[edit | edit source]

Star systems naming convention
every Star System name is mandatory to have the prefix ID followed by one single space, then followed with the in-game Region Name as read from the in-game Galaxy map, immediately followed by one single hyphen, followed by the Star (Solar) System index as read from a Signal Booster placed on the surface of one of its planets or moons. This is mandatory and unique, it has to be considered the true Star System name. Usually, although it isn't mandatory, this true Star System name is followed by a fantasy name chosen by the discoverer. In the case that the discoverer is uncertain, a good one is the original in-game name. It is a good practice to use a single space as a separator from the mandatory part of the name and the fantasy one, but it isn't strictly necessary because if the mandatory part rules are respected, it's pretty clear to understand where the mandatory part ends and the fantasy one starts even without any kind of separator. Example: ID Dajari Mass-0001 Jarhofn-Yeld
Planets (not Moons) naming convention
every proper Planet (not a Moon) name has as a prefix: the mandatory name of the Star System, (view Star Systems naming convention above). This is followed by a single space and a number that its first digit is 0 and a second digit from 1 to 6. This digit represents the order of the planet considering its aphelion distance from the main Star of the Star System from closer to farthest as seen in the in-game Galaxy Map after selecting the Star System in which the planet is. This is the Planet's true name and it should be considered the mandatory part of the Planet name. This mandatory part can be optionally followed by a fantasy name chosen by the discoverer; in the case the discoverer is uncertain, a good one is the original in-game name. It is a good practice to use a single space as a separator from the mandatory part of the name and the fantasy one, but it isn't strictly necessary because if the mandatory part rules are respected it's pretty clear to understand where the mandatory part ends and the fantasy one starts, even without any kind of separator. Example: ID Dajari Mass-0001 02 Udburnem Oyama
Moons naming convention
every Moon name has as a prefix the mandatory part of the Planet name of which the moon orbits around followed by an alpha character from A to E. This considers its aphelion distance from the Planet which they orbit around from closer to farthest, as seen in the in-game Galaxy Map. Between the mandatory part of the Planet name and the letter there is no separator, including spaces. This is the Moon's true name and is considered the mandatory part of the Moon name. This mandatory part can be optionally followed by a fantasy name chosen by the discoverer; in the case the discoverer is uncertain, a good one is the original in-game name. It is a good practice to use a single space as a separator from the mandatory part of the name and the fantasy one, but it isn't strictly necessary because if the mandatory part rules are respected it's pretty clear to understand where the mandatory part ends and the fantasy one starts even without any kind of separator. Example: ID Dajari Mass-0001 02A Loise
Flora & Fauna
At the moment there is no naming convention for minerals, flora, or fauna. It is strongly advised to use the original in-game names.

Structure[edit | edit source]

At its foundation Intergalactic Discoveries was a one man company: its founder hlfpst11 with the help of a lot of NPC.

Past about 2 weeks hlfpst11 met lula0768 and impressed by her expertise, he decided to open a position as Scientific Officer, a role where she will be able to express and to spend the best of her biochem skills. Hlfpst11 changed the company type from SP to GP offering a place in the board for lula0768 and a share of company assets as a way to keep her more focused on her new job.

Joining[edit | edit source]

At the moment in Intergalactic Discoveries there aren't any open position. If Intergalactic Discoveries need to recruit someone, probably it will be done inviting directly the candidate.
