Iteration: Tethys is an NPC.
Summary[ | ]
Iteration: Tethys is a Traveller that can be found in the Space Anomaly. They are located in the large room with the teleporter.
Tethys possesses a very fish-like look, encompassing beady eyes, scaly skin and fin-like structures on the head which probably serve as substitute ears. Their appearance is somewhat similar to the Gek, actually so much so that Tethys tries to pass off as a Gek by using perfume the first time you meet them.
Interactions[ | ]
When Tethys is first met they will try to scam the player out of a few units by pretending to be a Gek using their fish/lizard appearance and perfume to fool the player (unsuccessfully).
- In addition to that interaction, you may also receive an anomalous broadcast called "ITERATION TETHYS" at your settlement with a warning against trusting robots from the mission A Trace of Metal reading: "{ This terminal is fascinating! It's recorded all sorts of data - about you AND these settlers. I can see they've been - ahem - well, that is not the point. I have shut down your little majordomo for now. Robots cannot be trusted, not with what I have to tell you. }
- Demand answers from Tethys. Response: { Anyone with their eyes open could see a Sentinel spike of that magnitude, even if they weren't spying on you What happened? Did they leave any interesting tidbits behind? See what you can find - then com to the Anomaly. I have to know more!}
- You can either agree to pursue or end transmission.
- Listen: (Same as above.)
