K. Toddxeturea is a creature in the No Man's Sky universe.
It is a member of the Bosoptera genus.
Appearance[ | ]
K. Toddxeturea is a large Hercules-beaked Bosoptera. Nicknamed "Lapis Atlas" for its deep jewel-blue wings, it has armored forewings with delicate pale yellow backwings. The rest of its tough exterior is a dull brown-grey with deep blue mottling near the forewings. It has four black eyes and six spiny legs which it uses to scuttle along during its occasional landings before flying away once more.

First recorded in the dunes of planet Baddish XIII. These simple insects barely have a brain at all and react to external stimuli only via localised reflexes. A highly specialized digestive systems [sic] allows them to eat the Echinocactus that grow on their home planet.
