Kaisium is a star system in the No Man's Sky universe.
It once served as the capital system of the Helios Confederation of Independent Systems, but is now the Headquarters of the Helion Trade Federation

This system was discovered by Xbox explorer and current Federation Director optimus3097. It has served as the Headquarters and Capital since the formation of the HCIS.
While also part of the HTF, it is also the center of what is known as the Kaisium Star Cluster. This is a grouping of stars that are unreasonably close together.
It is believed to be the central home of an ancient civilization, on top of which the HCIS was built. There are numerous ruins that indicate a heated conflict that wiped out its wise inhabitants. The Helian Capital City of Gold Dawn Sanctuary itself was built upon the ruins of the Rotunda, and what was believed to be a Capital Fortress. This system is also the site of most Helian archaeological study, due to the remnants of Ancient texts and inscriptions that litter its ruins.
