Kingdom of Liycitus is a civilized space community.

Summary[]

The Kingdom of Liycitus is a Civilized space community focused on light roleplay, fun, and group play. Members are encouraged to physically interact and communicate using external platforms to develop an immersive dynamic which reflects conditions similar to that of real life. Citizens of the Kingdom of Liycitus are generally referred to as Lycitian. The Kingdom of Liycitus has a distinct history, culture, government, military, and style, which contributes to this environment.

It is located in the Avlovicer Cloud region of the Euclid galaxy.

Mission[]

Our goal is to increase player localization and interaction, have fun, craft stories together and increase the depth of gameplay by adding self-created PVP and PVE events. We want people to have fun, building a story while enjoying the game with each other.

Background[]

The Kingdom of Liycitus was founded by King Carter Brentwood on January 31, 2021 (using the Gregorian Calendar). However, the earliest development of the nation can be dated back to January 17, when national communications were established using software known as Discord and official government compounds were constructed upon the moon-planet Odius Major. Moreover, the history of the Kingdom can be traced back further to preceding civilizations which better give context to the current establishment of the civilization. Upon creation, the Gregorian Calendar was made obsolete and a new calendar, the Liycician Calendar, was created. This calendar records the days before establishment (BE) and after establishment (AE) with the founding date being recorded as 0 which could be denoted as either BE or AE subjectively.

Later, after some turmoil, the Kingdom changed both king and home system. The new Leader, Vherkin Drakna VI, found a new home for the citizens. This is New Hope in the New Liycitus system. The kingdom has fallen on hard times, but the new monarch promises to bring it back to its former glory.

After the disaster of Odius Major that forced the Kingdom to relocate, King Vherkin, The Dreadnought Kingdom Glory and a part of the refuge got lost in warp never to exit on the other side. At the same time, the citizens that where already moved into various refugee camp in our new home, a system renamed Liycitus, were attacked by Sentinels. The Empire of Anomalies came to their aid until the King and his fleet could emerge from a fold in space and rescues his citizens. Taking them to their new home, they came to a Phantom system called New Liycitus. With all the problems, except their naming sense, fixed, the Kingdom is now starting a new age.

Naming Guidelines[]

As of 434AE a naming guideline has been chosen. It shall use the prefix "KoL" for Kingdom of Liycitus. Simple and elegant.

	Mamad Military Base	King Carter	This harsh military compound was being built to trains ground force in extreme environement. Before it was able to be finished, the old capital system fell to the infestation. In a twist of irony, it is now the only building of the Kingdom that stand, the environement being way to hostile for even the infestation to reach it. Government and Politics[]

The Kingdom of Liycitus is an absolute monarchy which is limited by a self-imposed constitution, known as the Grand Charter, which outlines both the King's powers and some general rights of Lycitian citizens. The current regent of Liycitus is King Vherkin, the second king of Liycitus.

Economy[]

The economy of the Kingdom of Liycitus is based on trade and barter of a plethora of goods. Travellers exchange goods of an agreed-upon unit value for other goods or services. The government retains a depository of goods which is considered the financial backbone of the kingdom. Currently, the Kingdom is in crisis. Having just lost their capital because of an infestation, most of their people became refugees, with the Empire of Anomalies being their destination. They are trying to rebuild, but the sentinel attacks have derailed everything.

Currently, the King is the only Travellers part of the Kingdom. The rest are simply Korvax, Vy'keen, and Gek citizens.

Language[]

The official language of the Kingdom of Liycitus is Lycitian English, a modified form of the dialect which has minor grammatical changes. Despite this, Lycitian English is typically only used on official forums and documents. Citizens are allowed to speak other languages within the Kingdom, although it is required that citizens have enough knowledge of the English language to understand the civilizations rules and laws. NPCs within the territories of the kingdom speak Vy'keen, Korvax, and Gek.

Religion[]

The state-sponsored religion of the Kingdom of Liycitus is some form of Anomalies and Traveller worships. This religion deifies the near immortal Anomalies, being that seems to defy death and time itself. Despite the king not officially condoning this religion, it has quickly spread and penetrated all layers of society. Little information regarding this religion is actually known by the King's government and most of the information are conjecture surrounding uninterpretable ancient writing. Moreover, the government does not discriminate based on religion and allows for the practice of any religion by citizens.
