A Korvax Simulation Terminal

A Korvax Simulation Terminal

A Korvax Simulation Terminal, also known as Terminal Prime, is an interactive device in No Man's Sky.

Summary[]

A Korvax Simulation Terminal is an interactive device that can be found in the Space Anomaly. After entering the Anomaly it can be found in the interior left room of the central building, to the right of the large Teleportation Terminal. It is behind a door marked with three red circles, located to the right of Iteration: Mercury when facing the Space Anomaly teleportation portal.

It serves little purpose until a certain point in the Artemis Path.

Function in Storyline[]

The terminal becomes active during the mission The First Traveller in the Artemis Path. After speaking to Priest Entity Nada and Specialist Polo, the player is granted access. Interacting with the terminal presents a pivotal choice: upload Artemis’s simulated soul into the Korvax construct or allow it to fade permanently. This decision impacts later narrative outcomes.

Access Requirements[]

Access to the Korvax Simulation Terminal is initially restricted. The door opens during the Artemis Path after Polo enables access as part of the primary storyline. Occasionally, a bug may occur where only a “Leave” option appears when interacting. Workarounds include reloading a previous save or restarting the game.

Expedition Interaction[]

During Expedition 10: Singularity, the terminal plays a role in delivering Echo Seeds, which contribute to restoring fragmented Korvax memory within the simulation.

Lore[]

The Korvax Simulation Terminal is part of the storyline of No Man's Sky. It is an ancient relic salvaged from the lost world of Korvax Prime, preserved within a subsimulation maintained by Nada. The simulation is said to be capable of replicating entire worlds and consciousnesses. Some believe this is part of a broader Korvax effort to maintain universal simulations for preservation or control of sentient life.

Interacting with the terminal displays one of two possible messages:

  • "NADA–ENTITY AUTHORISATION REQUIRED: SECONDARY SIMULATION [5] RUNNING"
  • "The machine hums, glowing with a life and power that unnerves me. The terminal is scrambled, its display unreadable."
