La Hacienda 96 is a player base.

Summary[ | ]

La Hacienda 96 is a player base, located on the planet Gayad Fahut in the Qitand-Shat Yutul system in Euclid.

Layout[ | ]

The base is built in the strict and symmetric, but also vivid and creative architectural style of The Qitanian Empire and run by the Dapper Diplo Dough Depot company. First built in January 2019 during the Visions era, the base underwent numerous changes and renovation phases, the most significant after the implementation of hundreds of new base parts with the Frontiers update of September 2021.

Features[ | ]

The base features two landing pads, a balcony, accommodations for visitors, two Nutrient Processors, a Medium Refiner and a lounge bar where the legendary Qitanian Whiskey is served 24/7 and you can dance or just listen to traditional Qitanian music.

Harvest finest NipNip Buds that originate directly from the throne room at the Qitanian capital base on Hemiti Q35 and are grown in six fully planted bio-domes (6x16=96 NipNip Buds, hence the name of the base). For re-planting those fine buds at your own base, also use the Faecium from 48 Gutrot Flowers available in 12 Large Hydroponic Trays. 16 Standing Planters provide free Carbon at your disposal.

Relax at the balcony and enjoy the mild warmth of the sun in the amber sky!

In May 2020, the base was expanded to be a venue for ingame live concerts and other public events; the festival site is located on the beach of the semi-circular island the base is built on and features seating for visitors, two kiosks with Nutrient Processors, and a stage with a piano and microphone.

Unfortunately, the famous Qitanian Longneck dinosaurs that used to inhabit the planet went extinct with the Origins update; a monument on a small island near the Hacienda pays tribute to them.

We are looking forward to your visit!

Historic Events[ | ]

On May 14, 2020, the base was the setting for the first No Man's Sky ingame concert, performed live on stream by The Qitanian Empire's founder and council member Kash Karoon/EdVintage.

The historic live stream (concert starts at around 14:00 minutes):

On June 18, 2020, the first crossplay live concert with guests from all three platforms took place at La Hacienda 96; among the audience were members of The Qitanian Empire, The Eissentam Qitanian Empire, Empire of Phantomium Marxium, Black Star Order and Wild Space.

COME TOGETHER ingame live concert and crossplay meetup (concert starts at around 14 minutes):

With the release of update 3.60 (Frontiers), the half-round island the base is located on disappeared. Plans to abandon or relocate the base were discarded after patch 3.68 had the island re-appear, and instead, the base was completely rebuilt using the new "Frontiers" base parts (see gallery for comparison images).
