Louyen Incursion Event is a historical record.
Summary[]
In the middle Atlas Rises era, the Alliance of Galactic Travellers had become firmly established in the Louyen region of the Hilbert Dimension, and had recently started active establishment in the Milland region of the Euclid galaxy.
An incursion event from hostile forces occurred in both Milland and Louyen. The hostility took the form of naming unnamed star systems in the region with identical names, making navigation more difficult. The names used also indicated a hostile actor with disruptive intentions towards the AGT. The activities took place exclusively in the PS4 universe at the time.
The impact of this action in Louyen was relatively contained to a small number of systems owing to the fact the AGT had already named and claimed the vast majority of the systems in the region, on the PS4 platform universe at that time. The PC universe was unaffected, but there was limited to no AGT PC claims or activity in Louyen during this time.
System Naming Incursions[]
The hostile actor used the following forms of naming:
- [DE] The Dark Empire - used the same name across multiple systems
AGT Response[]
Systems with such names are not considered part of the AGT in this region. The AGT established a response by naming and claiming planets within some of these systems with AGT naming.
In the Frontiers era, the AGT established the AGT Internment Center to hold convicted players of the incursion. The center is located on AGT Just Rewards in the AGT Exiled Attackers CEL system.
Follow Up Incursion[]
In the Visions era, the hostile actor returned and found further unnamed systems in the region, and proceeded to name them using their natural procedural names. As this does not hinder navigation, the AGT considers such systems in the Louyen region to be informally part of the AGT, despite not having AGT prefixes.
Present-Day[]
The integration of the PC, PS4/PS5, and Xbox universes with the start of the Expeditions era meant that all the incursion naming issue that was previously limited to the PS4 universe is now carried over into the integrated universe.

The navigation difficulties are somewhat eliminated by visiting the special offending systems and reporting the name of the system for moderation. This has the effect of reverting the system name to the procedural generated name for the system on all display information. It also means the discovery date and discovery gamertag will not be visible to the traveller that reports the system name. This solution is temporary and seems to only last a few months at maximum.
