MESA is a company in No Man's Sky which was founded in the year of 2020 by TravellerDarwyn1 who is the sole owner of the company.
The objective of MESA is to explore ancient ruins and alien technology, collecting commodities and selling them, as well as the locations of Portals and Monoliths.

MESA is built around exploration and as such is based on a freighter ship, with the headquarters being on their capital ship, MCS Andorae. Whilst unconventional the founder realised that this would be the most cost-effective decision for the company as it would require much less travel time and far less fuel.

Background[ | ]
MESA was founded and by TravellerDarwyn1, an entrepreneurial character with a passion for the unknown and a determination that would see their dream become reality when they finally were able to purchase the company's first freighter which quickly became the capital ship. The success of the founder allowed for more freighters, exploratory vessels, mining ships, supply vessels and a small number of combat ships were added to the fleet allowing for longer and more dangerous expeditions to be undertaken. TravellerDarwyn1 spent much time in Gek controlled star systems and as such learnt much about their language and their way of business which, despite the founder's inability to secrete gasses to aid in trade, helped MESA become a successful company.
