Magnetised Ferrite is a resource.

Summary[]

Magnetised Ferrite (Fe++) is a resource and one of the metal elements.

The British spelling of this word is used in the wiki.

Game Description[]

Highly processed metal, requiring several stages of processing in a Refiner.

Used in the creation of advanced structures and technologies. Avoid ingestion.

Source[]

  • From resource cans dropped by defeated pirates.
  • In Resource Deposits.
  • Collectable by boarding any player-owned industrial Frigate that is not on an expedition.
  • Obtained from Geodes after cracking them open. Geodes have two rewards for magnetised ferrite:
    • 60-80 Fe++, 5.2%
    • 80-120 Fe++, 2.6%
  • Also available from some Galactic Trade Terminals.

Single Input[]

Magnetised Ferrite can be refined using a Refiner with the following ingredients:

  • Pure Ferrite ×2  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×1  ("Magnetise Metal", 0.24 sec./unit output)

Double Input[]

Magnetised Ferrite can be refined using a Refiner with the following ingredients:

  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Copper ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×1  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.36 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Cadmium ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×2  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.18 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Emeril ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×3  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.12 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Indium ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×4  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.09 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Quartzite ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×4  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.09 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Activated Copper ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×2  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.18 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Activated Cadmium ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×4  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.09 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Activated Emeril ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×6  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.06 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Activated Indium ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×8  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.045 sec./unit output)
  • Ferrite Dust ×1  +   Activated Quartzite ×1  →   Magnetised Ferrite ×8  ("Stellar / Metal Fusion", 0.045 sec./unit output)
