Summary[]
Mechanoceris is a genus of fauna in No Man's Sky. It is a player-created name for the creature ID ROBOTANTELOPE that appears in the game code.
Mechanoceris is a robotic creature and has a ten percent chance of manifesting in groups of two on planets in uncharted systems. Mechanoceres can also exist on Exotic planets in place of their usual Anomalous fauna.
As of the Worlds_Part_1 update, some planets with Mechanoceris have begun to spawn Living Buildings as well, meaning that such planets can now feature from one to four species.
