The Mining Beam is a core Multi-Tool component.

Summary[]

The Mining Beam is the default weapon found on all Multi-Tools. While it can be used in combat, its primary purpose is to harvest resources from minerals and flora. Using the Mining Beam also builds up heat over time, dealing more and more damage the closer it is to overheating.

Though the Mining Beam is an essential tool in all stages of the game, using it to harvest resources near Sentinels may result in them turning hostile.

Game Description[]
