Summary

This page is a list of various Royal multi-tools discovered during the Echoes through current eras.

Royal Multi-tools start off with good damage and scanner bonuses. They are a rare and expensive specialization, currently can only be obtained from Sentinel Pillars, and they can have between 11 and 14 slots, most of them are damaged.

Unlike traditional multi-tools which come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors, the Royal multi-tools share only a single model and come in exactly 10 different color variations: red-silver, orange-silver, yellow-silver, blue-silver, white-silver, red-gold, orange-gold, yellow-gold, blue-gold, and white-gold. Random names are the only types given that are procedurally affected. The design style of the tool bears striking resemblance to royal exotic ships, and the color combinations also appear identical to those of exotic ships, excluding the squid type.

Specialisations

The eight specialisations of multi-tool are:

• Pistol (mining bonus)
• Rifle (damage bonus)
• Experimental (scanning bonus)
• Royal (scanning bonus)
• Sentinel (damage bonus)
• Alien (damage bonus)
• Atlantid (mining bonus)
• Voltaic Staff (damage bonus)

Each specialisation can be subdivided into four classes, with S being the most powerful (and the most expensive), followed by A, B, and C.
