This article is about the current version of No Man's High Hub. For the Atlas Rises version, see No Man's High Hub (Atlas). |
The No Man's High Hub is a civilized space community.
Summary[ | ]
The No Man's High Hub as it stands today was founded and created by Catfeine and VihQ. It is jointly run by KingNate01 and Catfeine. A community born out of the No Man’s High subreddit dedicated to the cultivation and exploration of NipNip and Cannabis.
Founded on the principles of nurturing the sacred NipNip plant by the Gek, the travelers have taken what they know and continue to cultivate buds for everyone in the galaxy to use and learn from. You will find many NipNip plants within the occupied regions of NMH. "When within the presence of the sacred plant, you must take one out" - A Gek probably
The Capital Planet is known as Blue Dream and the coordinates are below. So grab some NipNip, grab some snacks and explore with us, but higher.
Background[ | ]
No Man's High Hub was originally founded by WayneGretzky66 and maintained by Themightyf0x as a small hub dedicated to NipNip, but the civilization was extremely unshackled and was quickly abandoned.
Years later, a small group of users from the No Man's High subreddit wanted to create a patch of civilized space dedicated to the cultivation and culture of cannabis. Shortly after the release of NEXT a Capital planet was chosen democratically for the community. A planet called Kanassa in the Purple Haze system of the Hilbert Dimension was settled. The planet was lush with purple grasses, rolling hills, and vast crystal blue oceans.
The community was just starting to get off it's feet when the Origins update happened. Origins brought a massive climate change disaster to the newly founded Capital and turned it into an infested paradise. The purples and blues were replaced with monochrome grey and violent storms.
The community then got together and submitted new planets to establish a Capital on. After many community submissions, a vote was placed and Discord User DruidGoZoom's nomination 'Blue Dream' was chosen for the new capital. It had everything a stoner community could want: glowing mushroom flora, jellyfish, dragons, bio-luminescent grass.
History[ | ]
For a full history of No Man's High Hub please read our No Man's High Hub History page.
Holidays[ | ]
In the No Man's High Hub we have a few holidays we celebrate. There are many practices and traditions that are observed. The three major holidays of No Man's High are:
- Founder's Day: August 5th, 2020
- Wanderer's Week: September 23rd - October 1st, 2020
- HUB Day: December 14th, 2020
Founder's Day[ | ]
On Founder's Day we celebrate the founding of our civilization. August 5th, 2020 was the day we as a civilization voted on and colonized our first capital Kanassa. Celebrations begin with smoking copious amounts of Cannabis and grouping up for various community events.
Wanderer's Week[ | ]
Wanderer's Week begins annually on September 23rd and runs until October 1st. This is a time for the travellers of No Man's High Hub to engage in somber reflection. On September 23rd, 2020, the Origins Update was released. Although largely beloved by the No Man's High fan base, it left Kanassa, No Man's High Hub's capital planet, in catastrophe. What was once a Paradise planet was left a cold, infested paradise with monochrome skies and raging storms. For the following seven days No Man's High Hub was without a home. The travellers were left to wander the stars alone, until a new Capital was voted on and colonization started on October 1st, 2020. For this reason, Wanderer's Week ends on Recolonization Day, the day that marks the day our civilization found our new home, Blue Dream.
HUB Day[ | ]
The final day of the No Man's High Hub holiday season. On December 14th we celebrate the day we were recognized as a HUB civilization not only by name, but by classification.
Recorded Holiday History[ | ]
Events[ | ]
Derelict Mondays[ | ]
Every Monday, citizens of No Man's High Hub meet up and do group runs of Derelict Freighters in NMH space. The event is split up into Derelict Mondays: NA at 9PM EST/6PM PST and Derelict Mondays: EU at 9PM GMT. We always run through our own Freighter the MS Tashiso VII which has very few enemies and returns an S-class upgrade. Being a citizen of No Man's High Hub is not required. We encourage citizens from other civilizations, and travellers who don't have a home, to join us. Who is meeting up, where to meet up etc. is usually discussed before hand in the No Man's High Hub Discord, so joining is essential for a smooth experience. We look forward to clearing some infestations with you!
Stand Up Comedy[ | ]
On June 7th, 2021, Discord user AverageHusband (Twitch) hosted a Stand Up Comedy night, a first in Civilized Space History. The audio was hosted on a No Man's High Discord voice channel and travelers met up at AverageHusband's Hot Mic Comedy Club to enjoy the festivities together, in game. The event was a massive success, prompting a somewhat regular Stand Up Comedy Night (usually the first Monday of the month at 9PM EST, right before Derelict Mondays) hosted by No Man's High Hub.
Sunday Smoke Sesh[ | ]
Every Sunday at 4pm EST, citizens of No Man's High Hub meet up, perhaps consume some cannabis and just hang out. Sometimes we'll explore someplace new, build something or just get high and watch the sunset.
Delta-9 Total Hyper-focused Cataloguing[ | ]
Once a month, the citizens of No Man's High Hub meetup in a predetermined star system. From there as a lone wolf or as a team, we explore the system with a fine toothed comb and leave no stone unturned or no screenshot untaken. The data is tracked by a master todo list (a basic Google Sheet) so that explorers don't double up on work. Delta-9 points are awarded for participation and if the event is nearing it's end, Delta-9 bounties are placed on the remaining items. All data is submitted to a dedicated Discord channel and later uploaded to the wiki to make for extremely robust system and planet pages. So join the No Man's High Hub Discord now, become a citizen and explore with us!

Occupied Galaxies[ | ]
No Man's High Hub was created in Euclid and has a thriving community there. Since January 2022, the civilization has also expanded in to the Koyotar Quadrant of Eissentam. The Capital of the Eissentam portion of No Man's High Hub, also known as Highsentam, can be found in the Systems Discovered section of this embassy page.
Occupied Regions[ | ]
The Capital Region of No Man's High Hub is Lahanhar Conflux, while the Highssentam Capital Region is Koyotar Quadrant. No Man's High Hub has been mapping many of the surrounding regions. No Man's High Hub has laid claim to the 26 regions immediately surrounding the Lahanhar Conflux in Euclid as well as the 26 regions immediately surrounding the Koyotar Quadrant in Eissentam. This is what's considered 'Unofficial NMH Space'. Once a region has been documented on the wiki by documenting something in that region, it becomes an official region of No Man's High Hub.

Naming Guidelines[ | ]
If a system might be of use to the community (ie. paradise planet, unique ships/multitools/planets) the system name is prepended with "(NMH)". Planets are usually named after a strain of Cannabis, but this is by no means a strict rule. Flora, Fauna and Minerals are again, totally up to you!

---|---|---|---|---|
Sour Diesel | Dankonia | Euclid | 2186F8EDB94D2186F8EDB94D | |
Notes: It is the first Colony for No Man's High Hub. Because it was the first colony for No Man's High Hub outside of the capital, there are many bases and no specific theme. A surreal Paradise Planet with glowing red grass and crystal blue oceans. The flora consists mostly of various species of glowing mushroom trees. | ||||
(NMH) Dreamscapes | (NMH) Renxi | Euclid | 315CF7ED194C315CF7ED194C | |

Companies and Organizations[ | ]
Delta-9 Discovery Initiative[ | ]
Join the Discord and be a part of the Delta-9 Discovery Initiative today! The Research Division is an initiative to keep the NMH embassy page and other wiki pages growing to continuously build data and aid explorers in progressing through the game. This means documenting things like upgrades, good economies, cool fauna/flora, cool ships, beneficial bases, multitools etc. Since many people don't have the chops for wiki editing, there will be Google forms to submit information. Winning submissions are awarded points within the NMH discord which are then tracked on a leaderboard for server bragging rights. |
Smoke Ops[ | ]
Smoke Ops is a defence force, military roleplay that is not an actual defence force. We strongly believe in No Man's High Hub's passive, 'ignore the trolls' stance to foreign policy. If you 'join' Smoke Ops, you will not be called upon to protect anyone or go after others. This also means there are no requirements or gatekeeping or even a general structure to Smoke Ops. It is merely a fun way to roleplay that you are in Smoke Ops 'defending' No Man's High Hub and just feel that much more a part of a community. There is a standard issue fighter and uniform, for more information of the Smoke Ops roleplay. |
Best Buds Bioengineering and Adoption[ | ]
Best Buds Bioengineering and Adoption is a bioengineering and adoption service. At Best Buds Bioengineering we strive to push the limits of the Egg Sequencer and other methods like save editing to create truly unique Fauna. All creatures that are listed on this page are available for adoption. To adopt a pet, please join the No Man's High Hub Discord and make a request in our #pets channel. You can also work directly with one of our bioengineers to custom design whatever creature you would like. |
No Man's Sky Galactic Records[ | ]
No Man's High Hub manages the No Man's Sky Galactic Records. Much like the famed Guinness World Records from Earth in the Milky Way galaxy, No Man's High Hub has built reference book, open to all travellers, listing galactic records both of traveller achievements and the extremes of the natural world. There are many categories, including longest exocraft jump and highest cliff jump. |
