Nonlinear Optics is technology that augments the Photon Cannon, a starship weapon. Its effects stack with those provided by Photon Cannon Upgrades, but this technology does not count toward the three-upgrade limit, making it useful for triggering stronger upgrade bonuses on those upgrades.

Replaces the conventional Photon Cannon optics with an experimental glass array, boosting combat performance.

Nonlinear Optics can be built using a blueprint and the following ingredients:
Hermetic Seal ×2 + Wiring Loom ×1 + Tritium ×100 → Nonlinear Optics
Nonlinear Optics can be repaired using the following ingredients:
- Hermetic Seal ×1 + Tritium ×50
Nonlinear Optics can be dismantled after construction, returning the following ingredients:
- Nonlinear Optics → Hermetic Seal ×1 + Tritium ×50
