Summary[]

The Pax Cosmica is an alliance of civilized space zones, formed on July 27, 2024 by noomintroll and DaLJMan420 and made public on August 1, 2024. The wiki embassy page was created on August 7, 2024.

The Pax Cosmica is a network of mutual aid, providing protection, support and trade routes for those in need. All member civilisations benefit from one another', and each has an equal voice in inter-civ diplomacy.

We strive to connect like-minded civilisations to one another, even across the boundaries of galaxies, in the hopes of crafting a better universe for future travellers.

The original emblem contained symbolism from each of the 'founding five', the first five civilisations who officially joined the Pax. The Aeron represents the UFIPA, the flame the Prometheus Collective, the city the Gek-Zuma Empire, the Elysium Arcænum's Flame of Truth is featured at the bottom centre of the shield, and the star and laurels represent Solara. The two Atlases opposite the burning Aeron represent how 'unity is stronger than any tyrant', in DaLJMan420's words.

As of the Gek-Zuma Empire leaving, an updated emblem was proposed by Emperor DaLJMan420 and designed by Governor Noomin, which has now been accepted as the new emblem:

The Pax Cosmica does not allow entry to corporations, regardless of circumstance;

In order for your civ to be recognised as a member of the Pax, you must join the discord server, where you will be considered by all existing members before being approved. Alternatively, a would-be member could make an intro post on our subreddit, r/PaxCosmica, before negotiations are taken to the discord.

Manifesto[]

These are the Pax Cosmica's motives and morals. Civilisations will only be accepted if they exhibit all of the following:

To Protect - all civilisations within the Pax are sworn to protect one another (unless neutrality prevents it), should conflict arise.

To Prosper - civilisations share one another's resources, and those close to each other are encouraged to open trade routes.

To Negotiate - we are firm believers that all conflict can be solved by preventing it from happening in the first place, which can only be achieved by communicating with the other party or parties involved in the disagreement.

Membership Requirements[]

Any civilizations interested in joining must meet the criteria aforementioned in the Manifesto section.

After your civilization is accepted:

Your civilization will be added as a role in the discord server, and you may invite one additional representative to said server.
Your civ will be offered a place in the Pax Cosmica's communal city.
A representative of your choice may add your civ's embassy to any or all of the other members' territories, provided you speak with said civ's leader beforehand.

Additional Information[]

A number of our members do not have wikipages, which we are working on.
A related server has been created on Discord for all Pax members, including citizens of every member civilization, as the main Pax Cosmica server is for civ leaders and diplomats only.
